I am talking about a powerglide with a manual valvebody and a highstall converter. A true manual trans like a four or six speed has alot of rotating mass when the powerglide has very little. What u are talking about is a trans in ur truck a powerglide is totally different
I had to go out to my garage and make sure my car was still there....identical to yours, except for a 4 speed.

Powerglides are used in dragsters, and sought after.

It's in good condition. When I got mine it was just the body, rearend and the subframe. Shouldn't take much to get that car up to show quality.

the powerglide was the only automatic offered in the 67-68 camaro, in 1969 they started using the TH350 in its place.

So I guess u are not a true car guy
that is the main trany for 99.9% of all dragrace camaros
they are duriable, takes less power to run than a 4 or 6 speed and can be fitted for a transbreak and/or delay box

any auto trans soaks up more power than a standard tranny
