  • Great vid Getting one tomorrow for my vn 1600 classic Can not wait

  • sounds awesome!

  • did you have to adjust the carb when you put this on, or was it just a bolt and go?? Don't know which way to go on my bike, cone intake or hypercharger. Thanks.

  • @69clclink Yes, I had to rejet it and adjust the fuel mixture screw which is well hidden from the factory. The hypercharger came with the neccesary equipment to do this, and you can find the instructions online.

  • yeaa!...cool

  • 8aholic....i just purchased a 01 vulcan 800. How do you debaffle the exhaust. also what do i have to do to the carb to compensate. Thanks rozy

  • @rozytc8779 dont debaffle them not worth it cause if you do that you still gotta rejet.

just have some one cut the pipes and make rage pipes

look in my videos at my vulcan.

  • Under the best conditions( matched Vance & Hines Pipes with a powercommander or like set up) A hypercharger will only net you 7 HP.Seems a stretch to state that a 200 dollar 7 hp upgrade will make an vulcan 800 classic SMOKE a Vulcan 1500. You dad better get his bike to the shop. Also, it looks like your hoses are on backwards See previous comment by markyk.

  • You sure do seem to be making it your life's mission to dissect my motorcycle. The reason the hoses look like they are mounted backwards is because the sound is out of sync with the video. And my dad's bike runs fine. Now go find someone else to bother.

  • lol

  • @8aholic nice bike bro im snaggin an 05 hopefully tomorrow and the first thing im doing is gettin a hypercharger fuck wut homeboy says about 7hp that shit looks badass

  • Much more power. I smoked my dad's 1500. Top speed is really based on your gearing, so no difference there really. Thanks for the comment.

  • pipes rong way around on hyper charger

  • what?

  • Nice bike. I just bought a used 2003 Vulcan and put a hypercharger and Cobra pipes. You should really consider different pipes. The performance plus the sound would go great with your hypercharger.

  • You can't tell from the video, but just debaffling the pipes makes them as loud as any. And as far as performance, I smoke my dad's vulcan 1500 the other day. Plus, i just love the way they look.

  • simply debaffling makes them louder but you actually lose performance. You have tinkered with the back pressure / compression without adjusting the fuel mixture. You probably lost 5 HP and a a good amount of torguq

  • I did adjust the fuel mixture. I can garauntee that the bike is much more powerful now.

  • Then all I can say is atta boy

  • Pretty cool. Are those the stock pipes? If so, are you going to switch them out?

  • Yes, those are stock pipes that I have debaffled. I don't plan on changing them out because the they sound great this way and they look better than any aftermarket pipes I have seen.
