we got 10 meters of snow up here in Kaluqop'luqikanuk and it's only march. It's too much to hunt for seals because we can't see the crevices in the glaciers due to the huge amount of snow cover. hopefully it starts to clear up before the 6 months of darkness starts up again

@sokrutu Oh yes. The great northern lights. Or manabai'wok as we call them... It does bring heavy interference to our internet connections but we do not play online games. In the winter, we are too busy huddling for warmth and repositioning our seal blubber. In the summer, we are too busy running from the swarms of mosquitos and land whales or kunahti'qualop'kanuthiak as you probably know them as. Life in the arctic is rough, but at least the great darkness only lasts 6 months at a time.
