@Patfitz1234 yes and if you notice it seems like it was made of mostly natural materials. not a whole lot of paint or plastic to pollute the surroundings, or the inhabitants. even plaster board was avoided. it's all glass and stone and wood.....someday.
@SEMEBS2059 Hello! Even though Gymnopedie is beautiful, this is Smetana - Vlatva. It is a symphonic poem about the river Vlatva (Moldau) and the course of its waters. That's why it fits the video so well.
If you like Satie, you will enjoy checking out Bedrich Smetana, which is also a great composer. Regards.
I always thought Fallingwater looked like it grew like a crystal out of the Earth. Well... apparently Cristóbal Vila thought so too. This CGI flythrough brought tears to my eyes. You knocked this out of the park, over the center-field bleachers and into the parking lot, Cristóbal Vila!
If i had the money i would recreate this in England and turn it into a studio for architects to teach them some heart, some of the rubbish i see going up breaks my heart and local authorities should be ashamed for allowing planning permission to some stuff.
Frank Lloyd Wright's perspective of actually mending both an architectural structure with the environment is brilliant. I wish he was still alive so I can meet him.
During a Business trip to Allentown, PA, my wife and I drove 4 hours one way to see Fallingwater and tour it. It was worth every second of the way there and back.
@MissCarrieCake This is indeed a beautiful piece of music. It is called Vltava (the name of the river which flows through Prague in the Czech Republic) and it was composed by the great Czech composer Smetana

ah 'G'eometry!
'G'eometry is key to the secret societies, like Freemasonry.
But I notice Frank prefers the 'straight line' as opposed to 'curves'?
To tell you the truth I would rather live in the Shire with Frodo and Sam.
Where the architecture REALLY TRULY blends in with the environment.
A dome I can call home that comes complete with a living roof that I can grow something on that I can eat, saturated with real wisdom.
Too bad Frank did not modEL his inspirations on the Shire.
