  • spot on - the best.

  • They were so good at what they did.

    A perfect match.

  • which cemetary is this?

  • I just wanted to share this with all of you,

My Mother and Father when they were just newly married. lived in California. in a beautiful apartment building with a court yard with flowers and bushes. across the road were 3 houses.

My parents were taking a walk outside the property. they had to cross the street.

Out in front of his house gardening was Oliver Hardy.

My parents said He was quiet.

They never told anyone where he lived.

They wanted him to have his privacy. (True story.)

  • bravo

  • Good tribute. His facial expessions just knocked me out,my kid loves there videos and hopefully she will pass the laughter on .I know there will never be a duo like them again .God Bless YouTube for bringing back some great memories.By the way Stan was not Clint Eastwoods dad. And if you get the chance to visit England go to Ulverston in Cumbria they have a L&H museum there.

  • 43 seconds look at Stans amazing body position as he begins to run. He's like a living cartoon! What an incredible master of mime he was!

  • Next time you are there - please put a stone on the grave from me...........X

  • And I'm early 20's my m&d introduced me to laurel and hardy, nothing produced nowadays comes close

  • I loved them both as human as any two humans can be--a funny?--I'm 63years old--and I was watching them as soon as the 12" black & White Dumont. Very Funny in everyday situations can be---God Bless Them!

  • Wonderful tribute. I am 48 and my Mum introduced me to L & H when I was a young boy growing up in London. Now I have all the films and I am about to introuce my young daughter to them. As for the point you made about the other graves beside him. Imagine the joy of their relations knowing that they were to be interned next to Babe !

  • They say things can be replaced. Not Stan and Ollie they were a one off.

no one can come close to these two. They were perfect in every way ,

R.I.P Stan and Ollie you are sadly missed, in this messed up world.

  • I could never laugh at Hardy's violent come uppance...too violent!!! He was a sweet gentlle being even if he did reprimand Stan....

  • I wish Ollie's grave was bigger - I feel a but shocked that he's so squeezed in - one of the most highly evolved people in human history - so was Stan

There should be a shrine somewhere where we all have to approach it on our knees

  • @grai thanks for the upload

Hard to put into words what Stan & Ollie's magic really is - being incredibly funny was only a part of the genius

  • great upload

  • They will never be equalled, true legends!

  • hardy is that funny with his face

  • i was also raised on the awesome diet of Laurel and Hardy by my grandad from a very young age and yes they do make movies where everybody of all ages will get it and as i grew older i understood more about other things i missed as a child, truely are the best and nobody can touch them,Thanks Stan and Ollie for all the laughs over the years and thanks for the upload, brilliant :D

  • thank you! And you are so right...no one will ever make me laugh as much as they did. And still do. Thank you Stan and Ollie. The mould has truly been thrown away

  • thx....from italy

  • ollie did one of the things that was taboo in them days..he looked straight at the camera and made us all feel his annoyance at stan and it made us all part of the films r.i.p oliver norville hardy

  • I named my Son after Oliver Hardy ... :-)

  • This was a very heartfelt Tribute to a truly great comic and actor and a wonderful gentleman. I am a Son of the Desert and in and thru the club we learn a lot about this truly dynamic duo. Stan was the creative one, Ollie was the quiet Southern gentleman offscreen. He was my hero and Stan too. Thanks for a really nice tribute.

  • His yells were priceless.

  • @mrceebees14 Agreed! also his desperate gaze straight into the camera is total genius :D

  • Stan Laurel was cremated as well, Wasn't he ?? And Charlie Hall there from my home city.

  • I wonder how the hell that line got past the Hayes & Breen

    Offices? and Mr.Roach?

  • Thanks for the compliments, everyone!! The Stan Laurel Tribute is now up as well! Best ~

  • hey mate, awesome job. I'm amassive laurel and hardy fan myself and i'm 21 years old.

the biggest thing ive ever done regarding stan and ollie was that i actually went to the house where stan was born in Alverston England. I was only 10 at the time but it was great.

  • they are the best duo team ever

  • i was laughing out loud with these clips. He was such a funny man. those looks into the camera are priceless. the world misses both of them.

    ATVmidlands UK

  • will still be funny in another 100 years!!! thanks for the laughter but most of all the memories....

  • I feel the same about Oliver hardy. My Father and I would watch L&H every saturday morning together. What good memories I have of those times.

  • bye Babe..we still miss u

  • Some people just shouldn't die...... RIP Babe..

  • olly is a true legend and will continue to make people laff generation to generation god bless

  • nice tribute! people often overlook hardy's talent next to stan's

  • Oliver Hardy was the funniest man the world has ever seen! No-one could fall on soap quite like Hardy. LOL.

  • Excellent!

  • I've seen Babe Hardy's grave and it's an experience

that I will always remember. With awe and sadness.
