There are some incredible ppl like Ravi who are such an asset to the church. What gets me is HOW has our world degraded to this level with such christian doctrines. How come Christians do not speak out and stand up against their govt etc. The church has a lot of power and could get its followers to make this world right - without force just by its sheer masses

@Badwolf182 The church CANNOT make this world right. The entire point of Genesis is that the world is irreversibly broken, short of providence. Without the old testament, nothing is wrong. Without the new testament, nothing can be made right. Only Christ can make right. It is dangerous to assert that truth is license. The problem is that even the shadow of death passes over the Christian. Free will means Christians will continue to sin. The state of the church is an example of that.
