I collected naturally infested horse dung and then all the spores that were shot from a heavily colonized piece. I incubated the horse dung in a big , deep glass Petri dish. These spores were then added to a freshly sterilized poo-cube. This was made with autoclaved horse dung and agar. Once the poo-cube was inoculated with the collected spores it only took 3-5 days for a wonderful crop of Pilobolus to show up. DK

It's a brilliant movie and a beautiful fungus, and i'm curious as to how you got such a good collection of sporangia?? I've tried growing on rabbit dung agar plates but i only seem to get 2 or 3 sporangia per plate.
