here's to do it:

copy another nexon folder so you have two of them.

download your private server.

then drag the private server icon inside the copied nexon folder.

umm i dont think there is v65 server yet (cuz GMS is v65 and it is fairly new) just find a server and downgrade the version to the version required

You can find that file in the folder of the Global Maplestory Folder. Just drag it to the folder that contains the files and other stuff of the private server you are trying to play on.

it's easy to start a Mapleprivateserver.

u download the maple v.55 or any version depending on the server u playing .

After tht u should download the client and patch....

then u extract it and put into the folder tht u save ur maple v.55 at ...

if u understand this .

but make sure u have all the npkcrypt and all those rubbis ...and make sure u oso have the face , etx , char and the others..

after tht . u're ready to play lol

oh, btw, for a shortcut just right click it and click create shortcut and put it on your desktop. look for non-laggy servers because most of them don't lag at all, if its a laggy server then just delete it and find a new server, there are like a thousand servers so don't worry.

do this, 1. download the private server from a website, if you don't know a web search maplestory private servers on google and it should come up. 2. put the downloaded file in your nexon folder 3. register your account from the site, if its auto register don't bother, it should tell you if its auto register. 4. double click the maplestory and play, if you need hamachi it should tell you the network and the pass for it and open up hamachi first. if its down it says theres a server check.

No. If you are playing private server you can't use accounts from Global Maplestory. But if you ever return to Global Maplestory you can still use your regular maplestory character.
