@jmcjmc2007 - I THINK not sure that its bcoz its a 3x3 so the numbers must be 1, 2 and 3 only

Could the "5" in the top left not have been a "4" and a "1" or am I missing something about these puzzles?

Never mind, answered my own terrible question.
@jmcjmc2007 It's based on the size of the grid, As you need to have 1-3 in every row, column.. So 1 and 4 wouldn't work. I thought the same thing :P
