I still have not found a school/college/council that has a French teacher that can speak a word of English and i still sit there for hours trying to understand what she is talking about.....it's hell.

But go to England and you will find numourous English teachers that speak fluent French!!

As a basic student of French, I found the visual display of the articulators very useful, mainly when you showed the way the lips round (the pouting) in vowels and final consonants. By setting off the /R/ sound from the syllable, you made me focus on this sound individually. And your intonation and liasions in the fast reading sounded very natural. Thanks for posting.

Okay, I absolutely love learning other languages, but French seems so hard to me... even Arabic is easier to pronounce/understand to me. There's just way too many sounds that are difficult to hear (e.g. n, r, all the silent stuff), I just think its extremely difficult to differentiate the words when you have words that sound like "ou"; basically just a quick "oo" sound. Just how I feel about it :P

I do hope to suck it up and learn it well some day though! Ha.

I know it's a bit difficult to understand for native english speakers, but english is by far the most difficult to speak, because of pronunciation/word stress and the chaotic spelling (non phonetic language). French (or spanish, german...) pronunciation/phonetic is very regular compared to english.

But you have to catch each french sounds and it "suddenly clicked".

By the way, the pronunciation in the video is really too exaggerated...
