@bradaughterofvegeta yet if no1 had fucked with a "psyco" as u put it, no trigger, people could have functioned.
its called "psyco" when u say weird shit, its called depression when u hide feelings, its called being a terrible human being when u act on a decade of aggression. fuck you bro, look up psycological triggers.

Bullying played no part in columbine. Eric and Dylan bullied others, but weren't picked on specifically themselves. Eric was a psychopath, and had issues with egomania.
I agree with ya man. If everyone has not yet read the recent psychological reports of them both, Eric was a total psychopath bent on killing thousands of people, Dylan was a depressed kid. People however liked Dylan and didnt really see him as a psychopath but as a human being with feelings. Somehow his feeling of loneliness hooked him to Eric. He caught onto Eric's ideas and eventually started bullying others with Eric. They both werent being bullied they were the ones dealing the bullying.
@CoNsPiRaCy93 actually, Eric was the one on anti-depressants, and sometimes those meds can cause homicidal/suicidal thoughts. They didnt bully other people other people were bullying them. Dylan was suicidal and depressed, Eric was homicidal, if you put those two together, you get a fatal friendship. Dylan didnt "catch on" to erics ideas, they both were into the same thing; death.
Yes, that's correct. But as you say: Eric was homicidal/suicidal. If it wasn't for him Dylan would probably not have killed other people, probably just himself. So I do believe that Dylan was kind of 'dragged' into this by Eric. This does not mean however that he did this against his will, i think. He just found a way out of his suffering.
@Rallymenow Eric and Dylan were only 'physco' because of other bullying them. They were just kids who got bullied, and handled it the wrong way. Bullying was pretty much the ENTIRE cause of this. Eric and Dylan didnt bully other people, they were bullied by everyone else since they werent 'popular'. It doesnt matter if eric was on meds, im on meds for depression (like eric was) and i dont go around shooting people. So shut the fuck up, since you obviously dont know anything about this inccident.
@xXxLaurenxXx1000 That does not give either of the boys an excuse for taking their anger out on an entire school of innocent people. Maybe not all of them were innocent, but just because they were bullied does not give them the automatic right to go on a murderous rave.
Bullying had little to to with it. It is not a scape goat........ it was only a partial factor. Brain chemistry, isolation, negative reinforcment, and angst were all factors....perhaps the MOST powerful. This is why it's important to listen... not try to figure out blame... its not always a person or persons to point at.
guys the expression "bullying" or "mobbing" doesn't only mean harrasment, or making fun of someone else - these expressions can also be used in a "bullying/mobbing situation". Like during the time before the terrible shooting, there was a hierchy, jocks and the non-jocks. so dylan and eric, felt like being bullied, no matter if there was a real visible bullying going on! There are many facettes of the expressions "bullying" and "mobbing"
they weren't bullied, true, but there was a hierchy at school, and they were at the bottom of it. They soon realized that society worked the same way, and thats what pissed well Eric off, dylan was just a weak soul who thought he was getting even for "what the school" had done to him
Very true. However, I would have to say it was a combination of factors and not just one particular reason each. It was the multisystem breakdown of many parts of their lives that drove them to that extreme point. This fact makes Columbine more understandable. Peace
yes they were bullied....they had a friend named brooks brown who can verify that. theres even a video where theyre walking down the hall and this wall of jocks come a long and push them.
Yes they were evil. Eric was a sociopath obsessed with power and grandiosity, Dylan was merely along for the ride. They weren't bullied, outcasts or loners. They had friends and even had plans after high school.
Their plans were to kill every kid in the endire shcool. Kind of like Hitler
leave it to the christians to take a tragety and make a profit on it from a single death
