LYRICS PART 2 I know too well it's very hard It's just barking for the silver moon. But I don't care how long it takes, As long as she lights up my way in the gloom Until the very moment When I see you again, I'll keep speeding along the road to the sun, The burning sun! Hear the roars of my car, I'm nearly round the bend, Searching for the love that we did share. There's no one who can stop me now
LYRICS PART 1 I know I'm gonna revive When I am...on the road. I've got nowhere to hide When I am...on the road. And there's no use in wondering what Made you feel like parting from me then, girl. How many more tears must I shed So as to melt the frigid wall of time? So I'm gonna break it Have no fear...on the road. You know I'm sure to make it No matter what's...on the road. cont...
The only thing the intro video was missing for me was a little montage of the guy tuning his car up before he took to the road for revenge. I can't count how many times I watched this as a kid though, time well wasted though! :D
Wow the people who have been thumbs downing all these comments sure know how to waste there time. Because you know that video games are serious buisness.
dave halverson's ecstatic preview in Gamefan totally sold me on tihs... i remember thinking it was going to be a controllable cartoon. I was a little disappoiinted at first, but got over it. it's a cool game
Anyone know if I'm just crazy or if the bgm for some of the stages had lyrics too? I could swear like the first stage had a real song in the version I played, and it wasn't this one. This was of course ages ago so maybe my memory is screwed.
wait wait wait, this isn't the Sega CD intro, this is the Laserdisc arcade intro with the Sega CD music dubbed over. You sneaky bastard, even though its essentially the same footage.
I just bought a bunch of Sega-CD games (or rather Mega-CD as I live in Europe).. I don't actually own the system but I got Road Avenger, Silpheed, Wolf Child and 3 other games for a pound each; stupid money had to get them. Im probably going to get a Mega CD eventually but can anyone recommend a decent Emulator? I need a good Emulator that will play these discs under Windows - I can get Wolfchild working with 'Fusion' but the others freeze - 'Gens' wont boot any discs it seems even with bios :S
If Gens and Fusion won't work, try Gens-32, Retrodrive, or AGES. I think AGES is the one I play most of my stuff on, and it works very well. Of course, I use XP, so it might be some Vista conflict that's causing the problem.
you're luckier than me, I tried Kega fusion but it just froz after the Sega logo, AGES, and Retrodrive didn't work for me, and I'm still concerned about gens32, even if I bought the game I'll never get to play it =(
I would kill for this song in good quality (without the sound effects, just the music and vocals). Someone should redo-it. It's powerfull and sad at the same time.
I remember playing this game when I was a child.
There's no one who can stop me now, pananam pam pam pam pam paaaam.
I am starting my own road avenging spree in couple of days and this great movie gave me good pointers. Does anyone know where I can get turbo blower for NSX or Scoda?
If your parents had foresight enough to make love while listening to this glorious song you might have turned out to have a soul that appreciates beauty, instead of a stone cold heart of coal.
Wow, good childhood memories. I too was a fan of the FMV games. I still have this game. I think I will dig up this classic and play it on my CDX. Great posts and thanks for the link to the lyrics.
ok this waS laser disc game before i own the game if you action go gte cobracomand allso and time gal and ninja hatate :) have nice day fmv games rules
WOW I remember playing this sooo long ago when I was about six. The bit that made WTF at all those years ago were: Was that a piece of her flesh that went flying out? Meh, I don't remember what the age rating was. Would like to play it again, I bet it's very, very rare.
Oh Lord...that was some cool intro!!!! I wish I had a Sega CD right now.Have you ever played a date sim,action-shooter game called SNATCHER? (It is made from Konami.) the game is something like this, but better violence! (Also in that game you can pick a funny option to hit Beautiful Women! HAHA!!!)
You know i chewed it naked and im wet! on the road!
And dont you wear his smelly fur, He'd just working for the Zero loo.
But i dont care how long his face...Im gonna seal us up im willing too.
Until there in a web....Where I see you agaiiiin. I keep smearing her on the wall
to the suuun! The moving sun! hear the words on my car and you win ...Throw the Bearr!
Your such a huge bowl of well done Weed!
You saiiid your gonna wink us up him how?

This is why I loved SEGA.
I can recall completing this on the hard mode, did it once when I was a kid I seriously doubt that I can do that again 15 years later.
