  • This has God's fingerprints all over it. The bottom line brutes, is America's glory days are behind us. God has left the building USA. God blessed us the most and how do we repay God? We put a muslim in the white house, We give the military money to kill or contain people and as a result, you are economically doomed in your old age. God is laughing at us USA or at least getting ready to chuckle as our fear cometh. God will also mock us for selling out to Satan via homowood, government schools...

  • the point is to avoid living so close to the damn coast to begin with, I left Houston years ago after being born there and growing up there, personally don't miss it or other shithole that is galveston one bit, but what the fuck do you think is going to happen when a hurricane makes landfall there oor anywhere, just pointing out the obvious for those not smart enough to add 2 and 2.

  • i think its pretty harsh how after huricane katrina everyone would have stopped the fuckin world for them but hurricane ike which was twice as big and almost the size of texas gets no sympathy period but hey this really is epic good job with the aerial view

  • BUCK UP, Y'ALL

  • @fuckfuckfuck71 fail :|....now.

  • I think what bothers me the most about this whole situation is how we were all so overlooked after the storm. No one seemed to really care that we'd lost everything - not like they did with Katrina. The news didn't report much, and seemingly everyone forgot within a day that our lives were destroyed out here.

  • I can destroy these monsters...

and want to make my discovering in practice...

  • The first part of this is fire damage - still related to Ike. The second part is on the seawall from the buildings (restaurant and gift shops) that were out on the water on a pier. Codark2 was right, most of the island is protected by a seawall, but not all of it. Many homes were flooded from the backside of the island. I lived through it. Not fun.

  • Shut up! No one wants to fuckin read that shit and you're stupid for posting it

  • What the fuck is wrong with you? How can you have no sympathy for the thousands of people who lost everything to this storm. My family's home was destroyed in Bolivar by Ike. Think before you post stupid comments like this.. asshole

  • I live in Florida and have been through four hurricanes. All I have to say is YOU TOOK THE RISK..Move inland.Nothing worse than the rich crying ....boo fucking hoo..That's life.Have a taste of the real world.

  • The rich? Because I had a home in Bolivar makes me rich?Well you obviously haven't been to Bolivar. I need a taste of the real world because I have sympathy for the people who lost their home and possessions in a storm? You seem like you think you have life all figured out. Go fuck yourself.

  • lol love it....from the madfatkid.....what else would they expect ? great comment

    fuckin vintage

  • it waz very exciting to see it even though that it was very bad

  • That looks like maybe the fire that broke out on the island. Some of those houses look more burnt than wind damaged. Could be both. Was it here? I see Brennan's everyday and its so sad. I never got a chance to eat there.

  • Ouch, looks like Ike did a Great Aether there. *Fire Emblem reference*

  • Human compassion and kindness in the face of this kind of tragedy shows what is in a person's soul. Those who make light of other's suffering are shallow, heartless morons lacking in integrity and purpose in their own lives, and should refrain from speaking out and broadcasting to the world just how worthless they really are. Values, morals and ethics are never out of style.

  • It doesnt matter where you live, mother nature is everywhere,,,tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes etc... so to say something as stupid as "dont live near the coast is down right stupid!

  • hahah...first of all galveston is behind a 15 foot high seawall, so its not "right on shore". Cities like new york are near the shore, and i spose they'll be dumbasses when a hurricane goes up that a way too. just like californians are dumbasses for living in an earthquake zone, midwesterners are dumbasses for living in a tornado zone, etc. thing is, blaming people for natural disasters is stupid, and eventually there will be one in your area too.

  • Hey Mobernixon maybe you should be a little more respectful.... People have lost everything and we dont need people like you bad mouthing anything or anyone... asshole..

  • My heart goes out to all that have lost so much... may your recovery be swift.

  • My God!! Total disaster!! I guess this show us that when Mother Nature hits,it does it without distintion of countries, the poorest, the powerfull ones, and everything in between. At least The US has the economical resourses to deal with this situation, but my heart is for those who are really in need inthe caribbean islands. I just hope this hurricane do not cause more victims and pray for the end of this nightmare.

  • Wendy's is still standin!
