I just watched the Anesthetize Blu-ray and it seems to me that the black level is completly off. The blacks look very grey and you can see artifacts (compression or grain) in the dark areas.

There must have been an error during the mastering process, where pc-level (0-255) and video-level (16-235) were mixed up.

Reading some forums I discovered that I am not the only one who recognized this independently.
