This doesnt surprise me. I have had a couple of bad male bosses but nothing to compare with the awfulness of the female bosses I have had. They cant seem to turn off their emotions. They make everything personal and take everything personally. In an office that is a nightmare. The tactics they employ are so playground ie coldshouldering, snubbing, bitchiness, emotional blackmail.
