This was a great band which played during the mid 80's . Saw them at Banisters in Hamilton. Much Music was there, the band Haywire, which open up for the Thompson Twins on the same night It probably was Erica Emm in the video, however she had shit for brains then. Why she was ever on Much Music is a disappointment. JD Roberts (now John Roberts on CNN) and Jeannie Becker (Fashion TV) did an incredible job introducing music videos to the world on their program "The New Music" on "CITY TV".
I haven't seen this video in years and I remember thinking back then if that chick dancing was Erica Ehm from MuchMusic. And today, after alot of years of not seeing this video, I just wondered the same thing again. Is that Erica Ehm in the video? Oh, how I had a huge crush on her.
now if you started reading this dont stop its really scarey!ok send this to five other videos in 143 minutes. When you are done press F6 and your crushes name will apear on the screen in big letters this is weird because it does work.If you break this chance you wont have a crush in the next five years
Excellent, particularly like the 50's references at the beginning, pre-empting the songs use in the 90's film 'the Truman Show' when it was performed totally as a rockabilly fifties number. And I think it worked! Whatever happened to the Chalk Circle who were cool about T.Rex in the 80's? Hope your still rockin.
Saw these guys live at a car called the Chestnut in Fredericton, NB in the fall on 1986. It was a an awesome show!!! Loved it!!!

Never heard of these guys till 2010. Vocals sound remarkably like Simple Minds (Don't you forget about me, etc)

just two things:
1) is that leslie feist dancing when the song first gets heavy?
2) what did the car do to chalk circle?

Which version? Like the original impossibly brilliant one or what?
This rendition would suffice but hey a little T.Rex in the noughties would be nice.
