  • Saw these guys live at a car called the Chestnut in Fredericton, NB in the fall on 1986. It was a an awesome show!!! Loved it!!!

  • big fav right there!!!

  • Hey, I went to Clarke High School in Newcastle with members from the band - great music !

  • I like this version!

  • This is the best remake of the T-Rex 20 century boy since...T-Rex!

  • Didn`t Def Lepard do a remake of this song not too long ago.

  • I love the 80's!!!

  • Never heard of these guys till 2010. Vocals sound remarkably like Simple Minds (Don't you forget about me, etc)

  • Heh, I bought this single.. I remember this, "This Mourning" and "April Fool" by Chalk Circle...

  • is this good shit or what

  • just two things:

    1) is that leslie feist dancing when the song first gets heavy?

    2) what did the car do to chalk circle?

  • This was a great band which played during the mid 80's . Saw them at Banisters in Hamilton. Much Music was there, the band Haywire, which open up for the Thompson Twins on the same night It probably was Erica Emm in the video, however she had shit for brains then. Why she was ever on Much Music is a disappointment. JD Roberts (now John Roberts on CNN) and Jeannie Becker (Fashion TV) did an incredible job introducing music videos to the world on their program "The New Music" on "CITY TV".

  • just heard in on the radio, man i forgot how good it was. listening to it in our yellow sony walkman in the yellow bus going to school. good times !!

  • @karolin34

ha! YES. that made me laugh

  • I had the biggest crush on Chris Tait! What a great time for music!

  • is the girl at 1:00 Erica Emm?? LOL.

  • Oh yes, like this

  • Meh...

  • I can assure you that it is NOT Erica Ehm...

  • A piece of this song is used in the upcoming (July 2008) Will Smith, "Hancock" movie ~~~~COOL

  • Which version? Like the original impossibly brilliant one or what?

This rendition would suffice but hey a little T.Rex in the noughties would be nice.

  • dunno, look the trailer

  • they use the intro of this song, then cut to heavier version

  • too bad chris tait had such a big ego...band would have still been together.

  • I haven't seen this video in years and I remember thinking back then if that chick dancing was Erica Ehm from MuchMusic. And today, after alot of years of not seeing this video, I just wondered the same thing again. Is that Erica Ehm in the video? Oh, how I had a huge crush on her.

  • Didn't we all?

Love this song. This is actually my favourite version.

  • well, I've been dead for the past five years so who cares?

  • now if you started reading this dont stop its really scarey!ok send this to five other videos in 143 minutes. When you are done press F6 and your crushes name will apear on the screen in big letters this is weird because it does work.If you break this chance you wont have a crush in the next five years

  • Chris Tait is a sexpot...lol. I agree this version is better than Def Leppard's cover

  • I really like this version of the song... much better than Def Leppard's...

  • Me too. Although, Def Leppard's version is pretty cool too.

  • Excellent, particularly like the 50's references at the beginning, pre-empting the songs use in the 90's film 'the Truman Show' when it was performed totally as a rockabilly fifties number. And I think it worked! Whatever happened to the Chalk Circle who were cool about T.Rex in the 80's? Hope your still rockin.
