  • Hi, Plymouth Uni, are you guys in very close relations with Singapore Polytechnic? Im in Nautical Maritime studies.. Im getting direct entry with a GPA of 3.8. Am i really heading down to plymouth 3rd year maritime degree programme?

  • Where do I live if I want the most privacy possible? I am not a big socialiser with new people?

  • There are some private houses that only have two or three bedrooms, which will allow you more privacy. There is also the option of homestay (catered or self catered), where you can rent a room with a couple or family in Plymouth.

  • Looking forward to joining however is there a specific way of getting into halls you want for instance francis drake?

  • When applying for accommodation, you can specify a type of hall, but not necessarily the name of the hall. Halls are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Because the campus is situated in the city centre, a lot of students (including those in their first year) live in private accommodation.

  • what if i have a diplome and 3 year working experienced...? do i have to take IELTS or maybe foundation first?? from malaysia...

  • You will need to meet the entry requirements stated on the University of Plymouth course pages. If English is not your first language, you will need IELTS also.

  • To go to university to need to have completed a form of entry level qualifications such as A Levels, BTECS, or National Diplomas. The majority of students are 18 when they start, although this depends on when their birthday falls and whether they take a gap year. There is no upper age limit for university.

  • Can you get wireless in halls?

  • University-managed halls of residence offer Internet access and the campus is both wireless and optical with access available 24/7.

  • How old do you have to be?

  • There isn't really a specific age, its more to do with whether you can meet the entry requirements.

You need to have A-Levels or other level 3 equivalents.

  • Brilliant, just brilliant! lol

  • You kept this quiet soph! Haha!
