@antimanc9 German synth-kings Alphaville ARE without doubt the most underrated band ever-not least cos the UK & US both never gave a tiny fart for them-but Europeans always had to put up with that crap in the 80s-unlike now, though ironically they're all shit now of course, from whatever reason. But yeah-OMD are an albums band, far more than Depeche Mode, Bunnymen, Siouxsie Sioux, New Order, Simple Minds, U2 7 all that oevrrated stuff. All gr8 acts were always devalued in the 80s-OMD certainly.
