  • this is kick ass, i like how you kept the beauty of the original song but still added some personality.

    way cool.

    :D

  • Thnx friend! I try lol

  • Yeah, I know! Everyone now sells out or is emo! HA! Music in this age is all about the money and it's disgusting! Old music does have the soul and creativity that makes it REAL. Yeah, just wanted to make sure you wouldn't think I was a bitch or something. Thank you! And I hope all your dreams come true this weekend! Haha. :)

  • That's cool man. That's cool, because Reggae is the shit! So are The Beatles. Old music has the soul and creativity and brillance that just astounds me. You know what I mean? (I came off as a bitch, but I'm really not. I wanted to say sorry for being a bitch.)

  • I feel the same way about old music, I just wish music in this day and age could be as creative and soulful. Don't worry I didnt think you were being a bitch, I welcome all criticism and input :)

Bless and have a good weekend!

    -Josh

  • Reggae is awesome...when it's reggae. If you're going to do a cover of The Beatles don't make it reggae. You seem pretty cool but if you are going to make Beatles reggae then...uh yeah.

  • I actually got the idea/inspiration to do this from a cover the Wailers did in the late 60's ska/Rocksteady/Early Reggae era. I just feel things in a reggae rythm therefore I do things in a reggae rythm ;)

    Peace

  • Coooool !!!!

  • wow,a reggae version of the beatles song :) very nice.I am a great beatles -fan.

  • thanks, I got the idea from an old ska cover the Wailers did in 64.

  • you gotta teach me how to do that reggae chord strumming... i cant seem to get it that perfect

  • there are many different techniques and styles to playing Reggae/Ska/Rocksteady guitar you just got to feel the rythm.

One of the techniques I use is the "down-scratch-up-down scratch" technique(Bob Marley's style of playing)then theres the Peter Tosh style which is all scratch guitar(Wah-Wah) down-up-down-up with skankin'and scratch in between beats.

  • pure class bro you got the action i like you..you do things your own way and thats cool bro all the best...rots

  • Thanks roots

  • nice :)
