Ok Shikumaru is NOT gay, ZukoSexy1. Haven't you seen the episode where he, Sakura, Naruto, and that talking dog thingy hunted down Saskue. He totally explained that he had his entire life planned out. He would first marry a pretty girl, not too beautiful, not too ugly. Have 2 kids, and girl and then a boy. Retired after his daughter marries, and his son becomes a shinobi. And he would die before his wife.

Shikamaru is a grossly underappreciated character. Everyone seems to be caught up in prettier characters like Sasuke-teme or Itachi... or Neji. Shikamaru isn't ugly... if you saw him on the street you'd immediately think him a hottie (without the ponytail, that is). He's likely the most invaluable character in the show -- inassuming genius and all, but he constantly gets passed over for flashier people.
