lol.... If that fish wasn't caught at Elk Springs Resort then i might be impressed since they raise trout right next to that litter feeder stream and "plant" them in there. When the water is running low they get trapped in there. You were basicly fishing their "Stocking" ponds where they send the little kids to fish!

@Benj3897 i fish all the time.. yesterday i got 4 steelhead, two were 6 lbs, one was 4 lbs, one was 2lbs.. i weighed them all..

today i went fishing in a little creek got 2 more steelhead. one was 5.5 lbs, one was almost 10lbs.

looks to me like in the past 2 days ive caught more then you get all yr

Got 2 more today within an hour or so out of my "honey hole" rivers about the size of this one, then opens up into a 40 yrd long rip thats 7 feet deep... One of the fish was 6.5-7lbs. the other was pushing if not over 10 lbs...looks like the last 3 days ive outfished your entires year catch in weight. BOSS

Salmon are a completely different ball game . . . They come in so thick the water is black and then you fly fisherman i mean snaggers, sorry cough i mean flossers.. just through your flys 10000000x in front of there faces till they bite.. i love fly fisherman, they always think they own the river,

You seem to be some sort of Pompus fly fishing fucks who think they own the river. Ive seen guys with fly rods fishing with nymphs on a hole for 2 to 3 straight hours and maybe got a fish if lucky. then me and my buddy would fish it for 10 minutes with our drift setups and pull out 2 fish each.

6lb leader

1-barrel swivel to connecti leader to main line

1-4 gram sheffield slip float

4-split shot. 2 directly under float. 2- 10inches above "bait"

1-size 8 octopus hook

bait: skein, shrimp, meal worm, jigs
