The best battle i've ever undergone was through all the parts of L'Enfant Plaza, 3 Overlords (GOTY Edition) 4Masters, 2 Brutes, 2 Normals, Plus Exploding Cars and busses, And The enclave arrived in a vertibird and there was lasrs flying everywhere.
try taking on 5 super mutants and 3 s m masters all of them have mini-gun, you have a fisto! (unique power fist) and 7 grenades, over-encumbered and... your lv 6. hardest f----ing thing i ever did in fallout 3...
Lols after playing Fallout New Vegas I've gotten used to not relying on VATS to do my work for me so when I got back to Fallout 3 I started to blow away people in the game without having to go into VATS like I used to it's very satisfying to know you killed 3 Deathclaws 39 Super Mutants and like 100 people without ever needing to go into VATS. O: Where is Takoma Park though? I never seen that or been to that part of Fallout yet. =/
@Derogon The subway entrance you want is near a crash site of a plane of some sort. You have to climb over some rubble to find it. There are probably other entrances but that's the only one I found.

I found that one of the best ways to deal with rocket armed super mutants is to run up on them with a shotgun and shoot the launcher out of their hands. Of course, a fat boy would be easier but it's not like you can find those just anywhere.
@HBKFAN1414 On my game every fight is epic and i could get killed definitely in dc. I got a mod called mmm advanced spawns. so where there would normaly be 5 people there would be about 13 to 20 lol and when you play on very hard it is very hard alot of the time but i use about 3 companions with me nearly all the time, they have been modded to be like sas badasses so we get around the city ok.
Ive been playing New Vegas for a few month now but this video and music takes me back and reminds me why Fallout 3 is so much better than New Vegas. I'm not saying New Vegas is crap but it is firmly in Fallout 3's shadow and will always remain there.

@Carlit0Tit0 It's the most prominent in-game radio station, with a couple of classics. If you have the radio in-game turned off, you'll get regular game music instead.
@bowlama7 the story is VERY good on the first two, however both are on PC only, and have COMPLETALLY diffrent gameplay. You can if you want, but Fallout 3 is not connected to the first two at all. (P.S. buy the game of the year addition, its half the price of Fallout: New Vegas and has MUTCH more gameplay and better story and more content and just a better overall game)

@bowlama7 It's not supposed to be any sort of realistic. While you do get some explanation in FA3, the earlier games provide way more lore. If you're not sure whether or not you like the setting, try checking the wiki.

Imagine that your in a midle of a fire fight and then you take up 20 stimpacks and stick them in your ASS to heal yourself . Fallout 3 sucks balls - so unrealistic. I can play on Very Hard shame deal by the first hour in the game i managed to find 50 FREE stimpacks in houses , sewers , caves. I wallk to a house stimpack ,i enter a 200 old store whit out a roof stimpack, i crouch to take a shut stimpack , i pull out a booger from my nose stimpack - retarded game realy .To sence of accomplisment
@BGSlopy The game is indeed way too easy. It's the same case as Oblivion, they numbed the entire game down for the console crowd. I personally enjoyed stealth and strategic combat the most in both Oblivion and Fallout 3, just to add to the challenge somewhat. After finishing the game one and a half times I didn't play it anymore. Morrowind and the earlier Fallout games are still great fun though.

And to be honest, I didn't find the Main Quest of FA3 all that entertaining. The "choices" didn't actually affect anything beyond the first game (not counting the DLC's). I also hate drama.

@brainiac554 I specifically said the Main Quest. Most of the sidequests are very good and really made me feel like I did something, but the Main Quest itself wasn't very entertaining, aside from the black&white part. Not to mention that in the main game you couldn't actually continue playing even if you didn't sacrifice yourself.

Yeah Charon keeps dying when I go to Old Olney the Deathclaw town. I like that you didnt use Vats, made it much better. If you really wanted a cinematic video you shouldve mapped the stimpacks, played in 3rd person, with no hud. I hope you make some of these for New Vegas, I think combat is the best part of this game.
just find the alien blaster. that helps allot:), ow, and the stimpacks, i have over 500 of them, just go look for them, you will find allot in the hospital, and you can buy them, its not that hard to find/buy them. also, if your health is low, you should find a bed and sleep. saves allot of your stimpacks that way.
lols in about 1 day i beat every quest on the game and bofore 1 week was over i had every wep in game including uniqe ones and about 1000 stimpaks so wat im saying is just learn the game and then it becomes easy

fast travel to Rockbreaker's Last Gas after "The Waters of Life" mission and you basically appear right slap bang in the midle of a big Enclave outpost.
@mpresev All you have to do is find power armors(enclave power armor, brotherhood armor, tesla won't work) then go to fort independence and talk to Defender Morgan, then the gate to Fort Independence will open, talk to Protector Casdin, then he will recruit you to find technology(laser weapons, plasma weapons, power armor etc.) power armors will give you 11 stimpaks each. You can also ask for 5.56 mm ammo, radaway, or frags. Hope that helps.

Exploding cars always screw me AFTER i kill a ton of Muties on very hard, if you ever had one explode a second after your done and proud of yourself lol. Plus, i remember trying to take Sticky to Big Town, and he kept on running into a car and dying haha
I've just started playing F3 .. since i played all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games and missed some of the older Fallout's im very pleased with this. Playing on Very Hard from the get go havnt change it once for anything. Mutants are cunts.. eat up so much ammo.. * * * * * * * headshots all day with them.

@brainiac554 Well if a game actually had any non-entertaining elements it would be shot down on sight. Also, not sure I get the game show analogies, since game shows as a whole display as much skill as they display commercials and stupid people doing dumb things, meaning maybe just above nothing.
And to be honest, I didn't find the Main Quest of FA3 all that entertaining. The "choices" didn't actually affect anything beyond the first game (not counting the DLC's). I also hate drama.

@Maninblack144 ok first of all it takes IMENSE skill to answer questions on the game show who wants to be a millionaire on the spot. but takes little to no skill to choose casses on deal or no deal. so your really wrong about the whole no skill on a gameshow thing. and to explain fo3(not as you say FA3) it is probably not your kind of game if you cant just enjoy a video game. and have to give you satisfaction to make you feel skilled

Most of the sidequests are very good and really made me feel like I did something, but the Main Quest itself wasn't very entertaining, aside from the black&white part. Not to mention that in the main game you couldn't actually continue playing even if you didn't sacrifice yourself.
Just to clarify, I do like FO3, but it has it's flaws.

A good fictional book , or story (it doesnt matter if its a book a movie or a video game) for me shoud at least feel coherent and simple things like common sence to be present in the game , so the fiction can be at least plosuble.I want the things i do to make sence - and most of the actions you do in Fallout 3 (quests , interacion whit NPC) are absurd .Colecting soft driks afret WW3 and so on

Yeah Charon keeps dying when I go to Old Olney the Deathclaw town. I like that you didnt use Vats, made it much better. If you really wanted a cinematic video you shouldve mapped the stimpacks, played in 3rd person, with no hud. I hope you make some of these for New Vegas, I think combat is the best part of this game.

just find the alien blaster. that helps allot:), ow, and the stimpacks, i have over 500 of them, just go look for them, you will find allot in the hospital, and you can buy them, its not that hard to find/buy them. also, if your health is low, you should find a bed and sleep. saves allot of your stimpacks that way.

@mpresev All you have to do is find power armors(enclave power armor, brotherhood armor, tesla won't work) then go to fort independence and talk to Defender Morgan, then the gate to Fort Independence will open, talk to Protector Casdin, then he will recruit you to find technology(laser weapons, plasma weapons, power armor etc.) power armors will give you 11 stimpaks each. You can also ask for 5.56 mm ammo, radaway, or frags. Hope that helps.

I've just started playing F3 .. since i played all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games and missed some of the older Fallout's im very pleased with this. Playing on Very Hard from the get go havnt change it once for anything. Mutants are cunts.. eat up so much ammo.. * * * * * * * headshots all day with them.
