@MegaPepsimax The Sun doesn't burn. The Sun glows because it is a very big ball of gas, and a process called nuclear fusion is taking place in its core. Nuclear fusion occurs when one proton smashes into another proton so hard that they stick together, and release some energy as well. This energy then heats up the other materials (other protons and electrons and such) nearby. The heat gradually grows outwards towards space, emitting the heat and light we know of. Just so you know.

Besides, if you tried to blow it up, you would have to use technology that isn't yet available to mankind, because the Sun is huge, its core is hotter than you can imagine (hotter than the Earth's) and its atmosphere is pretty hot too.. So it could be that a sort of missile or laser sent to blow up the Sun wouldn't be very effective, since it would possibly melt or get distorted before even reaching the surface.

The Sun can't be blown up!

At the end of its life, the Sun will get even bigger ("Red Giant" - Helium gets fused into heavier elements), and start to consume all nearby planets (including Earth) due to its strong gravity. After a few billion years, it will suddenly start to lose almost all of its mass into space (the last energy reserves of the Sun) and become a white dwarf (small, but very dense and hot), until it cools off and becomes dead (as cold as a corpse).
