Many Canadians come to America for some of their medical needs because they can't get what they need in Canada. For example say I was a 60 year old man in poor health and I needed a heart bypass. I might not be able to get one in Canada because I'm not a good candidate. I could come to America and get what I need (as long as I can pay for it). Many Canadians come to America for some of their medical needs because they can't get what they need in Canada. For example say I was a 60 year old man in poor health and I needed a heart bypass. I might not be able to get one in Canada because I'm not a good candidate. I could come to America and get what I need (as long as I can pay for it). I'm not saying that our system is the best, or even very good. But the UK and Canada don't have a very good system either. There is no simple solution

His dishonesty shows when he tries to connect how medicare is run to how Obama health care will be run. The Obama administration is not arguing for expanding nationalized health care to everyone, but private health insurance will be attempted to be expanded to everyone, and a public health care program will be created. A mix of public and private solutions.
