Hi, when i load an instrument into the rack and try to play all i get is a piano sound no matter what instrument i have loaded up! any help would be great!!!! Thanks
@jebbadiah1234 hey man.... you have to delete the piano instrument out of the rack.... i think when you first open kontakt the piano is on so just exit out of it and drag and drop the instrument you want
Are there any videos on how to use Kontakt 4 in pro tools, I cant figure out how to record midi notes into PT . I have an instrument track setup, i pulled ud up Kontakt Im am getting sound from my keyboard, but when i pull up the midi editor and hit a key I am getting no sound.
What the hell, when I bought Kontakt4 I didn't get any library files when I installed....That or the program has no clue where to find them, but neither do I!?
If you purchased a full version of Kontakt the library is on the DVD's which would have been in the box. Take a look at our Knowledge Base to see how to add libraries to the database. Go to timespace(dot)com, then click Technical Support on the left hand side, then click Knowledge Base, then click Native Instruments Kontakt. Hope that helps!
this is a VST plugin so if you want to use it to make music you have to use it with a program like Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, etc. It's pretty simple. Once you load up one of those DAW's and you have Kontakt installed it should appear in the list of plugins.

@912mindchanger You will need to set the same midi channel for each instrument within Kontakt to hear them all at the same time.
