  • p5 doesn't seem to move.

  • If you enter "HO" as your initials, a sample of the 1985 Sega classic "Hang On" in-game music plays.

  • :53 Excellent, I laughed, did blue crash?

  • You must be an elite player. I'd love to challenge you... however I can't D:

  • Does having a mangled up hood&bumper affect the car's behavior at all?

  • I don't know. I don't start crashing into walls until the car is uncontrollable in the first place.

  • Damage is only graphical. The only technical damage you take is tire wear (I discovered that pretty much by experiencing GP and Endurance modes). Even if you crash like hell, your car still runs well.

  • No, makes no difference. Only the tires wear down.

  • @cinndave Crashing your car has not affect. The only thing that can affect your perfomance is tire wear

  • THIS, people, is a proof of the ongoing awesomeness of the M2Emu. Great, great job there. I'm fully supporting you guys.

  • Yes, start writing the checks, no?

  • So where were you when my online racing forum was up and running?

  • @redSKORPION50

Developing on my own DU projects, to be honest.

  • What is a DU project?

  • @redSKORPION50

    read: Daytona USA related project.

  • Ok, so youre fully supporting us in what way? We were racing every weekend for months & also quite often during the week as well!! There was a number of weekends where we raced both days & almost all of both days. It was awesome. It all came to a stop though due to LACK OF SUPPORT from Daytona racing fans, no matter how many you see that really want to race online, hardly any of them ever will.

Are you planning to share with us your Daytona related project? If so, where can i read about it?

  • @redSKORPION50

Why not given I already have a small fanbase. :V

Actually my project is the Daytona USA Universe, which aims to remake every single playable car in the entire DU series + even some CPU ones since I got my hands on detailed pictures of them. We're remaking them using a Nascar Racing 2003 mod that uses 90's generation NASCARs, remixing the paintjobs, while trying to stay faithful. I and my team already did a Season 2009 that wasn't too bad but we're working on a new Season atm...

  • @redSKORPION50

(continued) This new Season, dubbed DU-Univ Season 2010, will feature even more faithful cars - we will notably be using the 1998 DU2 Hornet paintstyle instead of the 2001one, we will also make more faithful-to-ingame-details cars, both playable and CPU drones, which will replace the speculative and fictional cars. There's also a few "fan-cars" from the people who supported us. For now most of all this is on my deviantART page (link on my profile) but I dream of more exposure.

  • @redSKORPION50

(cont'd again) But when I said I supported you, I said that I was praising the emulator and the fact DU1 emulating was made possible. Anyway if you want links about my project, read the PM I sent you.

  • Oh ok, so no online racing? I am quite interested in racing people. Ill have a look at your site though, thanks mate :)

  • @redSKORPION50

I wish I could race people using M2 Emulator - I just have limited computer performance... Anyway, thanks to you =)

  • What did you use to record?

  • You are a great player!
