I have recorded lots of Phasex, but them as started to put in drum loops into tracks I found that all the midi stuff is late a bit so the rhythm does not fit. I wonder if its Phasex or Qtractor? Haven't had that with QTractor though before.
@LouigiVerona Yeah, I think I did some PHASEX tracks without a2j and then PHASEX starts lagging. I'll try again but then with a2jmidid. Thanks for the pointer!

@LouigiVerona That's a PHASEX issue I reckon. I mailed them about it but haven't heard anything. I'm still hoping to run in a possible workaround.

@AutoStatic3000 actually I fixed it by adjusting the jack latency. set it from 1024 to 128, plus I use a2j in ladish.

Wow! Sounds cool. I gotta install this PHASEX and Rakarrack. But I am on Jaunty. I hope it compiles or there's a package.
