I don't care what kind of religion Tom believes in and i don't judge him by it. All i know is i love his movies, and he seems like a really decent man. He goes into a movie 110% and brings everything. And if you want some of the "behind the scenes", he more then often have a laid back attitude towards his co-workers. Quite difficult for Tom to deal with this situation, because he knew there were cameras and whatever would happen these pictures would go around the world ... and he really managed to stay calm and deliberate, Respect!
Tom Cruise actually did the best thing he could do. He totally berated that guy and made him look like an @sshole. Hmm, really shows the Scientology in this video when you think of it. I did originally agree with you there, until I saw the interview with Jason Beghe, and realized that Cruise's flat/emotionless way of reacting to the wee bit of water splashing his face, is actually emblematic of scientology. Hmm, really shows the Scientology in this video when you think of it. Instead of thinking, "okay I got pranked, sure I got wet, but I did get pranked" he pulled the Scientology card of, "never defend, only attack", and it shows further how everyone who suddenly surrounded him made it look like a future lawsuit rather than, "okay it's just water, har har, the end".

@MidnightSundowns respectfully disagree. I hate $cientology as well but really Tom Cruise was right, it was a pretty stupid thing to do, it wasn't even funny to be honest. I prefer the clip where someone gets him to sign a Guy Fawkes mask, now that was good and really would've pissed him off, more so than squirting him with a bit of water.

@tryandlisten I've seen both clips, but I have to really agree with the guy doing the prank. Keyword is, "prank". Crusie could have just brushed himself off, laughed and been like "alright well ya got me". Pranks happen to celebrities all the time, and had this been a hidden camera show and tried to get him to sign a release on it I bet even Cruise wouldn't have signed and instead gotten someone else to try to sue. My evidence is that Scientology has no sense of humour, and is only for profit.

@tryandlisten Further, the reason I commented that it probably had something to do with Scientology is that the utter second the prank happens to him he almost instinctively reverts to the pre-programmed ways. I.E. never breaking eye contact, forcing the person who preformed the prank to now be "re-interviewed", physically grabbing the hand of the person, even his assistant does it, and then suddenly be swarmed by people and cameras. This is clear Scientology 101.

I did originally agree with you there, until I saw the interview with Jason Beghe, and realized that Cruise's flat/emotionless way of reacting to the wee bit of water splashing his face, is actually emblematic of scientology. They are taught to speak this way, hiding behind a 'shield' of indifference -- which is a kind of condescension, if you think about it.
