  • they'r cute!!!

  • Soooooo cute

  • donde puedo conseguir un guacamayo azul en quilpue o santiago de chile?

  • They look like Chocobos from the Final Fantasy game.

I'd love to own a bird but I'd feel terrible if they couldn't free fly, and I simply don't have the time/money to teach the return command. I wish I did though, simply beautiful creatures.

Congrats on the hatching ^^ You should name one Chocobo next time, since I'll never be able to.

  • @diedahero will have to look up chocobo now great name would really suit them. x

  • how much r they

  • they're cute!!!

  • You sel them?

  • Hello :) I was wondering if your a breeder? see, I've been looking for a baby hyacinth EVERYWHERE but cant seem to find one...

  • @hyacinthmacawlover Hello, have you tried any of the avian rescue shelters? I have a friend that got one from there. They have so many neglected parrots

  • WANT D:

  • I hate breeders .I hope you die as soon as possible.

  • @keivangamer thats because you're an asshole

  • @keivangamer You should thank the breeders, Hyacint macaws are a dying breed in wildlife...

  • @93Raya you are an idiot, if they hyacinth is dieing in the wild, then the breeders are going to be the only way to bring them back to life...... having breeders is like having a backup for extinction..... Use some logic.......

  • @killbotfelwick what the hell did I say? read...

    I agree with breeders, I don't disagree...

  • @killbotfelwick A fine sentiment, but sadly, dwindling numbers are usually due to other, external issues... typically habitat loss/destruction of food sources. Almost invariably the result of human involvement, mind you. Unfortunately, simply releasing captive-hatched birds into the wild isn't the answer, though it would certainly be nice if it were. For instance, the kakapo is struggling like mad to come back from hyper-critical conditions... a population as low as 40 remaining in the mid-80s.

  • aren't these the birds that cost like $10,000+?

  • Birds are about the only animals that are ugly as babies. Beautiful when they get their feathers though.

  • its amazing how with proper care they will out live most people

    80 years!!

  • so cute!!!!!

  • You got a goldmine there

  • NICE

  • wow they look like grown shaved greys..

  • at what point does their beak go from baby bird size to huuuuuge

  • i was wondering if they can talk?

  • Yes they can talk when they are older some have quite good vocabularies.

  • Beautiful birds! Our pair's first fertile egg hatched on 9/22/09. He's doing fine.

  • One of them is slighty more developed than the other.

  • My Babies!!!

  • It sound like there's a goose in the background either that or it came form one of the babies

  • That's allot of money right there!

  • Ha ha, now THAT'S a big baby!! I'm used to green cheek chicks.

  • That was so cute!!!!!!!!!

  • i hope you got my last message?

  • Thanks for the reply. the reason i asked is because i am an indian from USA and that is what i do collect them and pray with them. i am sorry about your friend i am sure he is in a better place now

  • Hi

Would you like me to send some out to you?

  • Hi Would you like any feathers in particular? Sizes etc. let me know so I can sort them out for you.

    regards

  • Thank you again and the tail feathers in all sizes are the best and also any wing feathers are also good the tail are the most important

  • You shouldn't publically display your address....you don't know the crazy things that result because of this....you should send him a PM instead =)

  • @tlilti Your supposed to collect Eagle and Hawk feathers not Parrot feathers oh great one! LOL I have alittle native american in me as well just alittle from Navajo's

  • i would like to know where are you located and what do you do with the feathers?

  • Hi We are in the UK and I use to give all my feathers to a friend who used to send them to the Indians in USA but sadly she has now died so I just keep them all and give them to the children who come here. Why??

  • thanks for the reply the reason i asked is because i am an Indian from USA and that is what i do collect them and pray with them. i am sorry about your friend i am sure he is in a better place now.

  • @parrotlink

I'm curious how did you get that bird? I thought they couldn't be bought because some rule called CITES I think ...

  • No domestication? If you want to follow what god wants you can go hunt some squirrel for dinner tonight

  • 77buickin07 do you have a dog? cat? fish?

  • Nice macaws! You can't get these in Germany! ;-( 5*

  • @EmmaKateParrish Dear Emma. If you come to my house to kidnap my well cared family members to throw them in a forest, you will either : -Get warned in my native language, then get arrested ; -Or if you insist and lay hands on them, get scratched and bit. Some of those inflicted by my dog, some inflicted by my parrot, but most inflicted by me. Have a nice day and mind your own buisness.

  • Wow look at how large their beaks are already! They also already have those beautiful large dark eyes that seem so happy and calm.

  • dumbass they cost 10,000 dollars or more please dont comment if you dont know anything

  • Actually babies aren't usually that much.

  • yea...the adults are actually what costs less.............

  • Are these macaws yours?

  • big ass babies

  • hi i would like to know if you are the breader and how much your selling them for??

  • that is sweat

  • r sooooooooo cute

  • yeah thats true :) parrots can get depressed n pull their feathers out if they ain't getting their natural exercise they would get from nature

  • they r only babies i kept my bird in 4 a bit now he comes everywhere outside to the shop somthimes in the car

  • they probably do have avairies they're just hand rearing them.

  • Why just these? why not all animals if you are going to make such a comment. Not to say I dont somewhat agree because I do feel there are way too many animals being neglected by people who are ignorant to what the animals needs are.

  • this was directed towardds jetlag

  • i really be surprised how many people add so many stupid comments,i always admired the beauty of a hyacinth and be owned by one would be priceless,if we would have more space,i'm sure we would adopt one already, but you never knows what happens, right now we are owned by a CAG,a severe MAcaw and a B&G and they are the best birds i could ask for,you baby's are adorable

  • Thanks. I love all species though they all have such different personalities which for me is part of what makes them so fascinating.

  • These birds can be upwords of $15,000, so I've heard. A big enough cage for this bird is really expensive, plus vet bills are high also.

  • You are correct. Very expensive birds. I have a Harlequin macaw AND he has health insurance to help with those vet bills.

  • Who did you get your health insurance through for your bird? Do you also have coverage for his value in case (God forbid) he died in a house fire or was stolen?

  • Omg!Those birds are very very very expensive!

  • Really? How much would you want for one?

  • Think you could come to scotland and i could buy one ;[ xDDD

  • Yes sure when??lol

  • omg japan are eat anykind of foods lol

  • If you like to eat birds then don't get these! They cost over $1000.00 !

  • ahjahahah your an idiot man

  • no shit, they cost between $10,000 and $30,000

  • they are not that much.

  • i want one

  • I have been interested in parrots from a very young age. I just find them fascinating. I have researched information on them for several years atleast. I dont plan on getting a hyacinth macaw yet, but in the future I would see. Obviously someone needs to be at home constantly though. I work for a bank so at the moment getting a hyacinth macaw is not practical for the bird. In the future when I am in a better situation I shall see!!

  • Those hyacinth macaws are amazing birds. Would love to have one, one day.

  • I read in your earlier comment you are in the UK. I am also in the UK. I know the Hyacinth Macaw comes from South America, probably from Bolivia, but is it even possible to get one in the UK? I live in London.

  • They come mainly from Brazil, but are also found in Bolivia. for more info have a look at hyacinthmacaw(dot)org

Yes you can get hold of them in the UK, just a quick search on Google brings up a few advertisements, however I would seriously research these magnificent birds before plunging into the deep end with them. There are many books on Amazon etc. but there is nothing like getting first hand help from a professional breeder.

  • hi , im buying 2 macaws , blue and gold from united kindom , 8 and 10 months , in 2 weeks . so Cute :)

  • How wonderful enjoy.x

  • Brings me back to when my gold and blue macaw was little.

  • so cute! :3

  • it's lovely to see that someones doing something to help keep this amazing species from becoming extinct. Beautiful babies!

  • Thanks they are wonderful.

  • So adorable! They are all beak and head for the longest time. Hand-feeding them is one of messiest tasks I ever loved to hate!

  • Know just what you mean.lol

  • ARE THEY FOR SELL? how much?

  • Hi Sorry we are in the UK so not a viable proposition and they are being exchanged for a breeding program but thanks for your interest.

    regards

  • Such cute sleepy babies!
