another nice thing about hardline as a stock perk is all you have to do is blow a UAV out of the sky and you have your first perk.

Really Hardline? I usually use Sleight of Hand Pro, Assassin Pro, and Sitrep Pro and as the specialist perks earned I have Quickdraw Pro, Scavenger Pro, and Extreme Condition Pro. It works good for me but the down side to this is your kinda loud without Dead Silence but I'm rushing mostly and I'd rather see what's happening in the map and who's camping where rather than being quiet for the first 8 kills...

May you tell me why people who are playing specialist strike package set hardline as a stock perk? Its stupid especially if first thing you want to earn is red perk. In my opinion better setup for specialist is 1.something 2.scavenger 3.then hardline. You still need 7 kills but you start with more helpfull perk.

@djgromo Because people dont think about it? Hardline as the 3rd specialist perk is definitely the way to go. You get the specialist bonus at 7kills as long as hardline is included in your streaks, so there is no reasons to get hardline early.

@djgromo That really depends on the game-type, your play style and your opponents. I've never gotten a M.O.A.B. so one might consider me not as "1337" or anything like that, but I know that when I play Domination, I love putting Hardline on my initial perks. I get a free first specialist perk - mostly Recon, Scavenger or Quickdraw straight up after spawning, assists are abundant for me, so Hardline Pro is huge and if I see that my opponents drop like flies, I should celebrate.

@wvcboysss What for you need to get red perk one kill earlier? You may put it as stock perk and dont need to earn anything. Hardline as stock is helpfull only when first thing you want to earn is blue or yellow perk. Its my opinion.

@djgromo (1/2) if you're going for moab, its 24 kills instead of 25 if its stocked, you can have a better setup earlier if you have hardline stocked, hardline pro is also very useful by getting two assists BAM first perk. having hardline is just easier to get specialist faster and thats what your looking for,

@djgromo I put Hardline as stock perk so I can put Extreme Conditioning on as my first stock perk. I know that sounds weird but let me explain. Whenever I do that I put Sleight of Hand for my first specialist perk because I don't even need it until I get my first kill, making it a waste of a first stock perk.

i have just got to say that why are you using hardline? You get it at a 7 kill streak so you don't need it.

Now, lets say he doesn't go for M.O.A.B's, then he gets a perk for his first kill and two kills after for the rest, and if he never gets a 7 streak, then he will get a lot more points then without hardline.

if you use specialist strike package then you will get hardline eventually and seeming as you are going for a high kill streak having hardline initially is probably a waste of time

@Conor0812 That's stupid. With Hardline initially you earn the Specialist perks at 1,3,5,7 kills instead of 2,4,6,8. This makes earning the perks and attaining the Specialist Bonus far easier. Unless you are an amazing player that can get a 8 kill streak EVERY RESPAWN no matter what you should run Hardline.

What about when you call in your assault killstreaks, as well as go on a 25 gun streak? Because after having a beast game, I saw that I went on a 25 gun streak, but I never recieved the MOAB. I had also gotten about 4 Attack Helicopters as a bonus amount of kills.

MOAB Tactics:

1) Have a 4-bar connection

2) Play a team full of pre-teen girls who don't run Assassin

3) Have teammates who spam UAVs

4) Profit.
