  • I also grew up in Lamar Terrace (lived on Hidalgo). We could even watch movies at the Post Oak Drive-In, there just wasn't any sound! LOL Thanks for the great video!!

  • What a memory! I was 4 yrs old. I remember the roller coaster scared the dickens out of me. There was also a go-cart track nearby. We, too, lived on Lampasas east of Yorktown.

  • This brings back a lot of memories. I went there many a time. I was too young for the Putt-Putt next door. Britton's Broiler Burger was right down the street next to Briargrove Pharmacy. You could eat on the Merry-go-round and see the Knight at Sonny Looks.

  • I was 7 years old. Vivid memories of all the rides. The merry-go-round with cowboy pistols, and even live pony rides were part of the park. We lived in nearby Lamar Terrace. What fun. Good days! Many thanks for this home movie!!!!

  • I was 10 at the time of this video. This brought back alot of memories. I remember Wee Wild West well. Now, it is in the heart of the Galleria. Thanks for the trip back in time!
