Carr had a style all his own and Singer, while THESE DAYS plays closer to Peter's style is still his own drummer. And I am sorry but Peter Criss was never as good a drummer as Carr or Singer.

Look Singer is an awesome drummer. BUT he's no Crisscat in terms of feel and vibe. Carl Palmer is better then Charlie Watts, right? Palmer would have killed the Stones. And thats my point! Its not always about technical ability. Its about feel. Oh, and Singer"s little toms sound terrible!

Peter Criss don't have any feeling when he was playing before no heart nothing just a drum machine, Eric Singer 100 times better than him, Eric Carr was 300 times better than criss learn someting about music.

Actually I think you need to practice what you preach. Criss was ALL feeling. He was not very technical at all, and has a strong jazz, and soul music background. He was limited, yes, but nobody can say he played without feeling. Eric Singer is actually the definition of technical, robotic playing.

Eric Singer is by far the best drummer Kiss has ever I had and this line-up is by far the most solid (except for gene's singing haha.)

Eric Carr was great too and far better than Criss ever was (did you see him petting his drums on the symphony dvd) but Eric is just far more technical and tight as a mofo.

I prefer listening to the original line-up though. What it lacked in tightness it made up in energy and originality. I odn't like the albums between creatures and revenge one bit.

Agree with u. I'm a drummer myself. Eric Carr is the best drummer in KISS. Peter in his best days still can't much up to Eric. Many fans loved Eric Carr coz he's known to be kind-hearted but he's one notch below Eric Singer, but way better than Peter.

This was the best KISS line up from a sound and technical side. Eric Singer was the most solid drummer they had. Peter gave them their original sound and was good. Eric has much more punch and tech skills. Bruce Kulik was better than Ace as well. (not a knock on Ace)from a technical stand point. Bring this lineup back! Without makeup and play some Rock N Roll!!!

This is just a classic example of how to do it right. Play for the song, play with groove, but add flash whenever it makes sense and really adds something to the song. Eric Singer is the absolute best at doing all that.
