there were plenty of bands with way more props to cover up their bad marching techniques. also this was the first year they used more props for presentation

wats up with the badmouting? We used the props because they were neccecary to tell the story and for certain effex. Duh. How can props cover bad marching when we march in the middle of the field?!!

This show was absolutely amazing and I'm glad that I got to be a part of it all. I'm truly proud to call myself a member of the Taft Raider Band. I love you guys!.

This show... was amazing to perform. I actually kind of liked the spears, in the end. The fourth book was my favorite to perform - got to tooooss. Raider band... forever. ;_;

Dude, really? Laying the blame doesn't solve anything. And not to be pessimistic, but there's nothing we can do about it. It happened, we didn't go. Two years from now we'll have another chance with a new show. We just... gotta deal with it.

No, you don't understand. We're saying the judges didn't think so because we had a terrible mishap at the Area competition that simply happened at the wrong contest and killed our chances for state. It WAS a State worthy show and of course you're entitled to your own opinion. But the judges at Area didn't see THIS show.

Excellent show, couple of mistakes in certain places, but no big deal. Excellent use of the horn calls, and the duet in the second movement was awesome, with a nice harmonic minor ending to that movement. Excellent use of props and visuals. A great show overall.
