I don't know why people say the story was screwed up. This was honestly the best story I have ever seen. I am someone who scrutinize every detail of a story and look for loopholes, but this really didn't have much. And the ending was amazing. Don't really understand what others are saying

It's because some poeple expect the story to have some sense of "right". That when a person is evil, that person will be punish. The expected end for Lelouch would be to die because he's pretty much of a bad guy. Instead he win everything and manage to survive.

I'm not saying that I don't like the ending of the serie, I'm just explaining why some people thing that it screwed up

they do. however their is a video of a fan-made alternate ending on youtube based on lelouch surviving with the code. just type "Alternate Ending of Code Geass: [ R2 ]" into the seach box on youtube and it should come up. Its not animated. its stills.

I can partly agree but only for the first handful of episodes of R2, i mean i was cming off a this huge epic ending and BAM slammed back into schoolboy lulu like R1 never happened.

season 2 wrapped it up season 1 seemed better because it built up the suspense and left u guessing

u cant say season 2 really bombed because it made an ending u didnt totally agree with

i think it made it to big and to political in the end and became to confusing but the very last episode was so satisfying id go and say it was the perfect ending in the last 5 mins

also most characters were milked for everything they had eg rolo and shirley which was good they all had impact

I never made it to the end of Season 2. The first few episodes of Season 2 put me off. Ill have to say though, I saw some of Season 2 on adult swim... and it seems to be a bit better then the start of the season.
