@guyfromhawaii54 It is simply mounted onto an egg timer! Each minute is a 1 degree rotation which gives very smooth panning.

@MinerFrawgz my guess is he put the GoPro on taking a picture 1 per every two seconds, then converted all the pictures to 30 fps, making it 34 seconds long, which also means he was taking pictures for 34 minutes..
