This is original 'down south' gospel music too bad the youngsters don't get into this kind of music these days. Just as good as any later version of Petra. Another real old time Petra song to check out is 'Backsliding Blues' I think it is on the same album and the song is such an excellent Blues song it could put Petra on a level with any top notch Rock Blues band of that 1970ish time period.

sorry to say this but, i'm 18. you don't hear this type of music anymore. I grew up with three older siblings who listened to petra on tapes. so i guess you could say i grew up with petra, unlike most youngsters. i'm so glad i did. :) i especially love "this means war" the older version. (it sounds so much better than the new one)

There are not any other christian rock bands like Petra and the only other Christian musician who could match, if not even better, the gospel message in music was Keith Green.
