What initially got my attention, is the fictional story that revolves around a central Transhumanism theme. After seeing gameplay footage, parts of other successful franchises also came to mind. So are you saying that HR developers were not inspired by other franchises? Sorry to break it to you, but nothing is ever 100% original anymore. Some gamers recall other gaming experiences.

@chopsoy0 It has nothing to do with pre orders. Pre orders are for the stores that sell the game to the public. I know that because i work at one. The company, Take Gamestop for example, will get so many copies from Sqenix based on pre orders and projected sales by geography and popularity so that Gamestop will maximize its profits. They use pre orders to hopefully confirm a sale, thats why they offer special pre order bonuses. I dont mean to come off like a douche.

I highly doubt that they can follow up on one of the greatest games of our time, I see all these different ways, but in deus ex 1 it wasn't nearly so obvious, the replay value in deus ex was amazing because you could play through it several times and each time you'd find something you'd never seen before, and it so rewarding in that sense, and this just looks like a blatant "choose now" sort of deal. But I'll probably buy it, it's deus ex, gotta love deus ex.
