  • I just ran into this video, today and viewed more of the videos and would like to say, thanks for explaining electronics, i understand it just a little more than i did in class...i know I'm late but can anyone tell me is it possible to tell what kind of trimpot I may have? For example: I have a bourne 3296 trimpot with the numbers W 203 and another set of upside down numbers: 420C I was given four of these trimpots but i can't really tell their values, can anyone help me?

  • thanks man , i was stuck and ur VDO cleared ma concept

    thanks again mate

  • who cares?

  • dude, u know sooo much about hardware and programming! keep it up!!!!

  • Potentiometers are not just variable resistors but also voltage dividers.

If you connect the outer pins to 0V and 9V then the voltage on the middle pin will vary between 0V and 9V as you turn the wiper.

  • @jeroen79 THHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNKSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

  • whens 20 comiing out

  • You definitely give great detail when you make your videos. I work with electronics, and your video's are very actuate. Nice job. Keep it up.

By the way, it's ok to call it a "multimeter" instead of " multi-meter" ;)
