Roche wasn't the strongest of Jean-François Bernard or Pedro Delgado, but was the smartest. JF trounced them all in the Mt. Ventoux time trial. Later Système-U attacked and JF punctured, and Roche and Delgado put four minutes into him!

Thank you for posting this. I still have it on VHS. Great music and awesome coverage! CBS had the best coverage and music ever!!! Too bad pros don't ride with guts like this anymore. Maybe we should get rid of the race radios. LArmstrong destroyed the race tactics of the TdF.

Roche and Delgado attacked when JFBernard was down...that's how you race the TdF! Its a RACE, not a Sunday afternoon leisure ride where you wait for your buddies. I like Spartacus, but man, he should stop neautralizing races for his bosses. That whole chaingate affair of 2010 is just A.Schleck crying sour grapes. He should get over it already.

I had this on tape for years, It broke a few years ago with over watching. The music went funny on my copy as well at 1m20. Any chance you have the other video from this tour with the music Ride like the Wind?
