Yeh well andy/austin was in a band called "THE PANIX" back where Black Tide used to live before they got signed. Its punk/thrash, which is alex's favourite genre of music and Alex wanted to go in more of that direction with Black Tide, but Gabriel didnt wana. Also Lex got into arguments with Gabriels dad cause his dad wanted Gabe to have all the attention. Well anyways, long story shirt, Lex quit and swapped places with Austin, so Lex is in Panix!

Nooo, Lex is more Punk AND thrash than what Black Tide were playing basically. He wants to play hardcore punk/thrash shit like Municipal Waste! (if you havent heard of em look em up ;) ). His band Panix are cool, i like em! And yeh i think it was a mutual desision that he left, but they are still good friends :]

Ah wow, I was at this gig - admittedly to see Avenged Sevenfold, and I hadn't heard of Black Tide, but they impressed on the night so I got their album a few weeks later... I do think the album isn't that great songwriting-wise, but for their age it's pretty incredible and I'm also comparing the CD to a live performance so I guess it's a bit unfair.

Alex left about a month ago during their current tour. This was because of 'musical differences' but in my opinion, it was because there was a bit of a rift between him and Gabriel. He has now been permanently replaced by a dude called Austin who is suppose to be very good so Alex isn't coming back. :(

i think gabriel still sings pretty good and with some practise he would be able to get those high notes again like on the album. But now the others help with singing since they can reach some of the high notes..Well that's just what i think xD

these guys are pretty good.  i'd go and see them live! to Nifden1, i read somewhere that since the CD came out, the singer's voice changed, so that is why the CD and the live vocals sound so different. overall, these guys are good.

This is the best live show I've seen of theirs so far, but you gotta remember that they are really young and need more experience before having amazing sounding shows. Still, this is very good.

I have heard these lads hyped up to the sky, and decided today was the time to hear them, and live is where it matters so I checked this video out, and I must say, 15 years old? And 19 years old? They've been together a year, and there on tour with Avenged Sevenfold, a main event band in the metal scene at the moment (Though i'll get slaughtered for calling them metal) and come on, They are a good band, soon to be great, and every band now a days copy Metallica etc. If its not broke, why fix it?
