English people just don't "get" us,When they try to portray Americans, it's always too controllled and unemotional. This number should be filled with energy and sexual tension. If you're going to portray Italians from Brooklyn, STOP being so ENGLISH!!
@tet43 you do relize that he is austrailian and i think not possitive but think that the Bee Gees that wrote and original sang this music are from there also.
@bdzivic Thanks for the info. No, I didn't realize that about him, and yes, the BGs are Australian. My point was that American musicals that are mounted in England about Americans, tend to lose much in the translation. As an American who enjoys musicals, I think I speak w/ a small amount of authority on the matter.I'm sure if Americans tried to perform Monty Python skits, many English would feel as I.I'm afraid it is irrelevant that these people are Australian.
I think that it isn't filled with so much energy becuase it was the Royal Variety Show and especially in 1998 they didn't have such high energy performances as they were performing for the Royal family however that has changed now.
God haven't seen this in years, thanks for bringing back happy memories ; ) Seeing him again on friday in Tap Dogs at the Novello Theatre. Last time he walked out the front doors as we were stood outside. A very nice unexpected shock! lol
I bloody love Adam! I remember when I was on holiday in Blackpool and he was to be in Night fever a week after I had left, totally gutted that I didn't get to see him live. Great video!
