This is one of greatest pieces of music ever written, certainly one of the top five piano concerti on anybody's list and Lilya Zilberstein plays it as it should be played- nobly with great passion and without any mannerisms. Brava!

This was broadcasted in german TV some 16 or more years ago, and I am thrilled how wonderful it is listening to it the second time - thank you very much for uploading! In fact Lilya Zilberstein plays so well and so distinctly that I remembered whole passages right because she is so unique. What an artist, and the orchestra and Dmitrij Kitaenko play wonderful too. Something to remember for a long time.
I just about fall over every time I hear her play the opening. The orchestra sounds "russian enough" too. I've seen her live many times and she never fails to illicit smiles from the orchestra members. Good work Askdhg!!! (what does that stand for)? . R
