Yes, you're right, earlier there was 2.0 with 120HP until year 2000. And later until 2007. there was 2.0 with 115HP. Now the strongest petrol engine is old 1.6 from Golf MK.4 with 110HP. I think that iti is better for me to wait for Skoda to start selling Fabia with new 1.2TSI and 1.4TSI which will be very soon. Maybe in Germany there is already that engine options.
Yes, but the will put TSI in Fabia very soon, you can bet on it. There is already 1.2TSI 105hp in new VW Polo. There will be 1.2TSI and 1.4TSI in Fabia for shure.

They seemed to have moved everything to the left side of the engine, now. My Fabia is a 2003 model, and everything is more to the center and right.

The 1.6 in fabia is first engine with 1.6l...Older wersion was 1.0,1.2,1.4,1.9 and 2.0Mpi

IT is 4-cylinder. And yes, I would wait few months just to get the Fabia with all new TSI engine instead of buying 1.6 old technology engine.
