Indians have their ways of dancing, Egyptians have theirs, the word "bellydance" is irrelevant. Discussions which one is older are pointless as they have different backgrounds. What she is in fact doing is neither thou she claims to be doing egyptian. Her way is the style that used to be popular in the west before people found out how to do it properly. egyption verison has more belly work its belly alone and the indian version is more with other movments like combinding khatk or trad. indian dancing that the only diffrence and other than that they have other roots bcuz arab concored egypt nd nd the arabs went to india so they are all connected in some way
