@nickyboy22071989 Yeah thats a shame, although I understand why you can only have native snakes, but my lack of ability to bring my boa over with me is keeping me from moving to oz :)
My Jungle Carpet arrived today via FedEx ( smaller than yours) Black & Yellow beauty. He's on "rat pups" /gave him a fuzzy. I put one in late tonight ( he seems most active now) He spent the day in his trees exploring and then sleeping.
Loves to climb. I'm used to Boas. The Jungle Carpet loves it really warm - more than the young boas
I have recently had a carpet python as a new addition. I like you set up and believe a snake needs a good environment, after all it spends a lot of time in there. It hate seeing snakes in the cheep plastic storage containers on a sheet of newspaper and a plant pot for a hide.
I have a Cali King and a Jungle x Coastal x 50% diamond.
im thinking about getting one of these snakes for my birthday and ive never owned a snake before so i was wondering what would a good start of snake would be and i am getting an old cage from a friend that is about 2 meters so size shouldn't be a problem.
@aids696969 Well if you want to get a baby snake try not to overdo it with the cage even though it might be a good size for an adult because with young snakes sometimes haveing to much space can make them feel really nervous. But I would say if you know your information and have the time and money to take care of it go for it, get what you want. Like i said just know what you're getting into.
you should have left the snake were it was in the first 5 seconds of the vid, that was an awsome tank lol good tank, but a little too little room for the snake to wonder around
Not better

@derelict92 In innisfail, my mate breeds them.
nickyboy22071989 6 months ago
@derelict92 You'd be able to get them in the states I'd say, we can only have native snakes here such as that carpet python.

Just letting you know that this is most likely a 'Jungle Carpet Python' as 'Australian Carpet Python' covers about 6 different species.
