So far I love BFP4F, it's the best F2P FPS game out there... though there are some new ones coming out this year that might change that, like Warface, Ghost Recon, and Blacklight. The one thing I like about BFP4F is the massive maps with aircraft, tanks, and other vehicles. AVA is close in graphic-style, but are messed up in their "free 2 play" system (pay us money for a 7 day gun, like Crossfire and Combat Arms). At least in BFP4F paid stuff can be permanent.

@dredloc121 Yeah. I had the UZI before the new gun customization and it was a lot better. I haven't been here since the closed beta but I can see how they slightly nerfed the guns.

@BaeckereiKipp I use a suppressor on all of my guns accept my mp7...You need the extra ammo capacity because it burns through mags insanely fast.

Tribes: Ascend looks VERY promising free game. It's a sci-fi class-based fps shooter with very interesting movement mechanics. It has competitive play support and It has vehicles also!

I support not only the boycott, but also your reccomendation of WoT. I've been playing since day 1 CB, and it's just absolutely amazing. The pay-to-play aspect doesn't feel imbalanced, and the majority of content is absolutely free. Great game.

I don't see who is buying BFs after dec update, its absolutely retarded with the recoil, I don't even care about the 6-7 bullets or 2-3 dmg, the recoil is 2-3x more then any other fps I've played.

I purchased vet n elite gun, scammed outta both for a +3 gun with paintjob and ironsight options, Lol EAsy devs making these decisions don't seem to be in touch with the playerbase at all. Everybody I talk to hates the dec. update. There is no quiet majority, or vocal minority everyones pissd. nic vid

I dont play any battlefield anymore... So i only play Team Fortress 2, and L4D2 on Steam now, sooo much more fun that p4f.

Only good weapons left in p4f are shotguns and PISTOLS.... and knife

They're redeeming a BIT with buffing +3s. But it's still a long ways off. I suggest you keep doing P4F stuff however. Along side BF3. You never know they might whip something out that fixes the game, or maybe even a change in management. I'm not giving up on the game, just yet.

BF3 is good in the mean time, although I don't find it as fun to watch as P4F. Odd right?

We opened the door with our early praise of the game to the new players who don't know what the game was and easy money for EASY.

@dredloc121 lol, lots of attacking on that comment. I'm closed beta and I bought alot of stuff. And now it's essentially gone. What I meant is maybe occasionally do a nonsense thing like pistol+USAS trolling or some flying stuff, until the game is MAYBE one day fixed. In the mean time, BF3. Also, do you use Steam? If you do, I can suggest a ton of stuff you can play on there. A good example is TF2, which is a free source game that isn't pay2win, made by Valve. That's always nice.

@TheShadowCross No...I agree like I said in the video. I don't like BF3 as much as P4F(used to be). But I don't suggest you play. When you play you reward them for screwing us. It shows and interest in a product that you know is defective.  You don't have to play to keep up on patches. Mass boycotting is what is effective (it won't happen but it would work). The fact that thousands continue to play is why they most likely won't go back to the original formula. Face it buddy it's over:).

It's good to see that you're still making videos, Dred. I agree with your statements on relativity - I tried to make the most of the new sub-par P4F until the 5th, because of the money I've dropped into it, but there's absolutely no point.

You should see the forums now, they're a complete fucking wasteland. Pretty soon there won't be anyone left playing who knew how good the game used to be. But never mind, onwards and upwards.

@dredloc121 Yeah. In an odd way giving up P4F feels like a relief. I was so angry, as everyone was, when the update happened, but now that I've cut my ties it feels like a weight's been lifted.

Unfortunately, this is why Easy decided to do this in the first place. Naked profiteering drives the veterans out, but there are plenty of fresh faced dolts to take our place and keep the wheels turning.

But fuck it, it was fun while it lasted. My rig can't run BF3, but I'll add you when I next upgrade

Can you make a video with BF3 jets showing the difference in using mouse and joystick? I have to use mouse because for some reason flying with joystick feels weird. I just want to hear your opinion on it. About BFP4F: I quit playing it soon after boosters came out. I didn't want attachments, if I wanted them I would play BC2. I tried the game when the new map came out and my MP5 had so much recoil that I just rage quit and it was the same when I saw how much they nerfed the Littlebird on DV.

Nice to see you doing an extended commentary, well, compared to your other vids. I remember a while back I made a comment on one of your posts requesting longer commentaries, lol. Well, GJ with this one and I look forward to more. As for P4F, I stopped buying BFs after the Dec 1st update and totally quit playing a week after the Dec 20th update. I just bought a new GPU and will make vids of some other games, but I am still a bit sad over the fall of P4F. I thought it was a better BF2, Lb 4 Lb.

@dredloc121 Yea. What sucks even more is that a lot of actually enjoyed the game a lot, it felt like the devs deserved our money when weapons first came out. And the changes weren't even all bad until the end of cb, not even the introduction of elite weapons was as bad as everything since tier 3. I really wanted to continue supporting them but after they took away the legacy weapons, I just don't see how anyone can anymore.

thank god i didnt keep playing p4f....i used to play it back in 2011 summer vacation....and i started of using game points...but then i bought the m4 and kept buying guns cuz i really enjoyed that game...but then i heard bf3 was coming out so my brother and i started saving up for an xbox and bf3 when it came out...there was this day when i got bored and played p4f and i noticed all these changes and updates....i never knew what this was....but until...im playing bf3 on the xbox and loving it.
