Nice exhaust. My '92 has a 2.5" Pacesetter exhaust with a 2-chambered Flowmaster Mustang GT Muffler. It looks stock and sounds awesome. Plus you have more clearance in the back. I hate when people forget about how low the muffer is and bend and scratch them up.

i can see these cars have potential an since i have one i want to go FI at some point but i cant seem to find any solid info so i figured id ask... my guess is about 8PSI without touching the internals??
Hey Robie...glad to see you still have the Storm! Got rid of mine a year and a half ago...less than a year after putting your coilover kit in it. Hated to get rid of it, but didn't have room for two cars. :( These cars get a bad rep because most people buy them cheap and treat them as disposable. The reality is that they are very good cars, comfortable, fun, efficient... take care of them and they'll look good and last a long time!

unless you plan on destroying the rods and pistons, i suggest you strengthen the motor before DUAL turbos in a stock car, if your new engine is still stock, your gunna fuck your motor up unless you've got your turbos set for 2 lbs each, which would be useless, stock motor and one turbo pushing 4 or 5 lbs is a nice power add for a light car.

I never knew these bad bastards were buildable. I had a '93 GSi with the best engine option (kinda looked like a sideways-mounted Miata motor w/different cam covers), DOHC, 2.5" aftermarket exhaust, K&N cone filter fitted right to the intake manifold. I cut out a scoop for the hood to get air to the filter, and after that took that bitch to the highway. Ran like a raped ape, it was a blast. That little shit would do crazy burnouts, too!

you are correct, 8psi is about max as the stock pistons are the weak point on that engine. The rods are nice and beefy though so no worries there.
You could go a bit higher(10psi) with race gas, but at the first sign of detonation, the pistons will chip like a china plate...
