Being single parent,i didn't received much love from my Dad.When i was 4, classmates has their Dad to bring them back from school,their dad to be proud of.I could only walk home alone.When my classmates ask where is my Father?I could only say i don't have one.I often think i am not loved.Until two years ago, i received Christ.I received Jesus,I received a new Dad . Despite that I find that your argument for faith in God seems to involve that he can't be seen and that there is just implications of his existance. I agree that humanity and life in general is extremely beautiful and complex, but I can also accept that out of such a vast universe it will happen in at least one plave over millions of years.
When I say christianity is ritualistic I would be referring to things like baptism, communion, church service, even prayer.
When I say it is false I would be referring to how the vast majority of the Bible is impossible or no longer accepted (and I have read the Bible). It seems odd to me that the religion itself exists and despite how God is apparantly never changing, a large amount of what he has supposedly commanded is now ignored because it goes against modern, sophisticated ideas.
Every religion has some ritual. I found that Christianity is the least ritualistic of all. And it doesn't even matter anyway. God created us, so who cares if we have to pray or take communion. He gave us life. I hope you soon find the truth and stop babbling nonsense.

@cooliscool the proof you seek cannot be found with physical science which is where you are looking this is a metaphysical thing you have to go to it to find it the higher realms where god lives is out of touch physically you have to travel to it and yes there are ways to do it so yes he is real and yes he can touch the physical but it is beyond our limited physical essense to really understand go within you will find it but you may need to be trained first

@cooliscool I hear that question more than you know. But when you think about it, we could sit and argue with each other about whether or not God exists and still not get anywhere.

For example, im a PC person because i feel that whatever "benefits" macs bring to your life are not worth the extra money, especially since i can get a PC with better stats than a mac for less. however, a mac person could always tell me that their computer came with this awesome program or that amazing layout or watever. we both would have proof to bring to an argument, and both of us got proof from personal experience.

The problem too many of us will face is that we become wedded to sinful paths here on earth. It will cost us very dearly to let go of those paths, but God will not rob us of the opportunity to do so knowing the full truth.

I understand that hope can be a good thing
however, hope provided by a religion is wrong as it can't promise anything other than rituals and ancient solutions to problems far more complex than they are designed for.
Also your argument relies on the fact God exists, and this is wrong. How can you promise he is with anyone when you can't promise he is real?

I actually have a lot of respect for you psychicpsycho20, you seem to be far more reasonable and intelligent than most people.
Despite that I find that your argument for faith in God seems to involve that he can't be seen and that there is just implications of his existance. I agree that humanity and life in general is extremely beautiful and complex, but I can also accept that out of such a vast universe it will happen in at least one plave over millions of years.

When I say christianity is ritualistic I would be referring to things like baptism, communion, church service, even prayer.
When I say it is false I would be referring to how the vast majority of the Bible is impossible or no longer accepted (and I have read the Bible). It seems odd to me that the religion itself exists and despite how God is apparantly never changing, a large amount of what he has supposedly commanded is now ignored because it goes against modern, sophisticated ideas.

Every religion has some ritual. I found that Christianity is the least ritualistic of all. And it doesn't even matter anyway. God created us, so who cares if we have to pray or take communion. He gave us life. I hope you soon find the truth and stop babbling nonsense.
