White Tigers are made from inbreeding. PLEASE do not buy one of these animals unless it needs to be rescued. What these people are doing is wrong and it is not condoned by the Association of Zoo's and Aquariums (AZA). White tigers have significant health issues as compared to normal tigers as you can imagine from them being inbred over and over. They are not a subspecies of tiger. Please support the AZA on this. There are not many healthy tigers left in the world.

In fact 100% of white tigers have a genetic disease in one form or another. That's due to crossbreeding betwen members of the same blood type. So if white tigers dissapear, it's quite literarly a good thing. It means the population has grown, and the genetic sickness has by some extend dissapeared. All white tigers suffer greatly at old age.

The onyl ones which are still having problems are siberian tigers, but the russian authorities have a shoot-to-kill policy in place for poachers.

@CrazyDancingBear So what exactly is your point? I'd like to see you make a logical or moral case for NOT eating dog and yet still eating any other kind of meat - especially meat which is so resource hungry and damaging to the environment (such as cattle).
Personally - cows, and sheep, goats and most farm animals are lovely creatures - i have hand reared lambs for example.
I still eat them.
Dog and cat (and mostly any carnivore) is foul meat imo.
But they are good with spices.

@BabylonWhore666 I am a vegetarian so I don't have to justify eating meat, on the contrary not only is eating meal immoral but utterly hypocritical. Go eat meat when you won't have a problem with being slaughtered and eaten yourself.
The fact that you have hand reared farm animals doesn't put you in any justifiable position to eat them. It just means you are ignorant despite the fact.

@warewolf435 no it doesn't because animals are creatures of instinct, they are incapable of changing diet or moral reasoning in general. Plus carnivores won't survive on meatless diets due to the way they are framed biologically. On the other hand humans can live perfectly healthy lives on vegetarian diets, for a creature who is capable of broader thought and who can survive without meat it is immoral. You are comparing your species to one that is far inferior mentally/different biologically.

If we dissapear from earth it wont have anything to do with being worth of living or not, it will just be the natural flow as always, be it because we searched for it or due to a force outside of our control. @6946031985 I see what you were trying to say with your messege, but let me educate you a bit on ''white'' tigers. The White tiger is not natural. In fact 100% of white tigers have a genetic disease in one form or another. That's due to crossbreeding betwen members of the same blood type. So if white tigers dissapear, it's quite literarly a good thing. It means the population has grown, and the genetic sickness has by some extend dissapeared. All white tigers suffer greatly at old age.

@6946031985 There is absolutly nothing beautiful about an animal suffering from brittle bone disorder or an ingrown paw bone or even an underdeveloped internal organ because someone wanted to make money off them by making two clsoe relatives mate. There is -nothing- beautiful about that. It's sad and it's exploitation. Do they look beautiful due to their coloration? yes, of course. should they even exist. no, and I hope that the ''white'' tigers will soon dissapear so the rest can be healthy.
