  • @Sneakfreek95 games didn't have fanboys back then? Son, are you on crack? Oh wait, you're 18.

  • @Sneakfreek95 homosexual fanboys are the WORST

  • The Sega one has a few more notes than the other console ones do.

  • I love them all (Arcade/Genesis/SNES, etc.)...But the Genesis takes the cake for me, as far as the home ports are concerned.

I love sega dearly. I just heard it first on tha arcade and sega CD is awesome.

    amazing song!

  • sound more smoth than the SNES and arcade

  • This was my jam back in the day. My NBA JAM!

  • Welcome to NBA JAM!

  • The arcade version had more sayings but this team selection version was better on sega

  • How can you not love this song? Hella funky lol.

  • Man, I miss the days where music was one of the single most important things in video games. It's still pretty important, but in those days it was godly good.

  • This was the game! Was playin the emulated version today! Good times. Waaaay better music on the mega drive version then the snes!

  • snes is wayyyyy better

  • i dont think we're hearing the same thing. you can barely even here the melody in the SNES version

  • different music from the snes, the snes's music is all intense. this is way more funky.

  • Can you make one for the beginning music?

  • A TURNOVER!!!

  • Boomshakalaka!!!!!!!!!

  • I cant find any vids of people breaken the backboard.I remember i used to do it as a young lad on the snes or sega but was only possible on 4th quarter

  • HE'S ON FIRE!!!!

  • classic! but i prefer the genesis remix

  • oops, this is the genesis remix!

  • i can hear the usher(mostly women) saying:

"all on my left/right, please stand, face the wall, and obey the usher in the rear!!!! and then some of the church members are strutting down the aisle to the beat of the music to put their money in the offering!!!! and then lastly the ushers are marching down the aisle to the beat to put their money in the offering!!!!! hahahahahaha!!!!

  • @kevante1 right with the women and their big ass hats with 7 flowers on them and they wear like too much perfume lmao

  • I miss my sega :( this game and road rash 2 is all i would play.

  • Ha, and me :D Good times man.

  • STOLEN!! HIT HIT HIT!!! thanx

  • As a teen I had the SNES & Genesis versions...The SNES had way better graphics than the Gen version but the Gen version felt more like the arcade from the gameplay to the announcer despite the awful limited colors especially of the player faces...

  • i wish i can go back in time. good memories.

  • Elementary school memories...*Sigh*.

  • man this version is so much better than SNES version. BOOM CHAKALAKA!!!

  • I hope the SNES version makes it as the VC title since the music and sound quality is superior; however, the Genesis remix of the SNES version's team select theme is pretty awesome. I guess they made a remix of it to make up for the suffering music quality.

  • Wii version is going to be ON FIRE!!!

  • IT'S COMING TO THE WII!!! THANKS EA!!!

  • NO WAY IM SO PUMPED!!

  • Comment removed

  • I would always love when the 4th quarter came and you always had a chance to break the backboard on a dunk! And when you defeated all 27 (at the time) NBA teams and saw the "special ending" and then you go into "juice mode" which would speed the game up faster and lead to more higher scoring! Good times and even better days!

  • this sound like a song the musicians would play in the church(black church) while receiving the offering!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

  • lmao

  • @kevante1 what? no it doesn't

  • @kevante1 lol

  • @kevante1 that has to be the funniest post I have ever seen!!!! (probably cuz i play the keys at a black church)

  • @chozinwun816 HAHAHA!!!! I USED TO PLAY THE PIANO IN CHURCH!!!

  • @kevante1

    lol "gettin paid, gettin paid"

  • @kevante1 Thats funny!!!

  • @kevante1 whats even funnier is that it would be a japanese dude on the organ in a black church.

  • @kevante1 (black church)

  • @kevante1 CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!?????

  • @ScottX6945 HALLELUYAH!!!! LOL!!!!

  • @kevante1 the sega cd version is more appropiate for the MEGA CHURCHES DURING OFFERING TIME!!!! LOOOOOOOOL!!!!!

  • @kevante1

Church would be so much more fufilling if this played during the entire service!

  • man they need to make a 2010 version that stays true to the 90's version. Yes nba street ball was okay, but if nba jam is redone like street fighter it would be amazing!

  • HE'S ON FIRE!!!!

  • Before he says he's on on fire, first comes...

    Oh my.... He's on fire...

And in the last 2 minutes of the game, if your up by more than 6 or more, the announcer will keep saying: "The Nail in the coffin" every-time you score

  • BOOMSHAKALAKA!!!

  • uhoh where going down some dangerous back paths here...( if youre not from the 90s you better turn back now)

  • good times, good times

  • Hell yeah I still have this game in my collection with a working sega,

Now that I listen to this song, being older. That guy is getting down on that electric keyboard...

    *Head bobs*

  • two stepn

  • so true 8)

  • the snes music was way superior

  • Not even close.

  • lol i was. the snes one was music. this is more like beeps

  • makes me wanna cry......the good old days..

  • i remember this!

  • ooooh my

  • Best sports game ever.

  • awesome...sega's version is way better than snes

  • No fanboyism. Though, there's in-game music in the Sega version of NBA Jam. The team select theme has variation in that version compared to the SNES version anyways.

See my review of NBA Jam.

    -kidThunder

  • HAHA I remmber this!

  • FUCK YEAH

  • this is amazing

  • welcome to nba jam!

  • HE"S ON FIRE!!!!!

  • From Downtown...!

    No Good!

    A Rebound!

    REJECTED!

  • lol pjanoo

  • BOOM SHAKALAKA!

  • could anybody please post up NBA Jam (SNES) - Team Select version music

  • fucking best game i've ever had, but my genesis had to break and now i'm stuck with a gamecube and a xbox 360 dammit

  • Oh dear, I can imagine your pain and torment...

  • Pushing and shoving when someone attempted a dunk high in the air LOL

thats my favourite part of JAM

  • Hell yeah!! same here!! on playstation1 nba jam tournament edition you could put power up icons on the court and they gave you extra power sometimes. One push would shoot them to the other side of the court. It's hilarious. I wish i had that game still.

  • I got the SNES version, I like sega, just Im not into it and never think of it, whereas the SNES I do, it annoys me when you try to dunk, the other team push you! ah well, I got them, they get me back. cant argue against the game! lol

  • this is my anthem

  • The NBA Jam Series will never die

  • Did you guys ever notice the picture of penny hardaway in the game looked nothing like penny hardaway. lol it was like they took a picture of some bum of the streets

  • I played this song at a wild party last saturday!

I think it better qualifies as "party music" than most music radio would play.

And I did say that this is a cross between lounge music and club dance music!

Just say NO to radio, and say YES to YouTube!

    YOUTUBE 4 LIFE!

  • Hell yeah dog LOL! Holiday Inn could play this if they had a "Club Night" for their employees and guests lol. I would have a blast LOL.

  • YEAH TOTALLY!

What you can do, is take advantage of their wifi service, stream my instrumental dance tracks playlist onto a laptop in the party room, and market the party as a "private party" even though my idea is to have all hotel guests welcome there!

I mean seriously, a party isn't a party without music having the right sound. Music is about hearing the sound, not hearing references to booty

Just because dancing is about shaking booty doesn't mean its an excuse to favor booty over sound.

  • You know what?

    Samurai has got a point!

he will not let fond memories go to waste. Same with catchy, club/lounge like sound!

  • hahahaha

  • i used to cry when i lost a game of nba jam my uncle would team up and we would kick ass

  • Welcome to...NBA JAM!!

    Razzle Dazzle!

    Grabs the rebound!

    Is it the shoes?!

    BOOM Shaka-laka!

    Phoenix Suns were my team.

Charles Barkley and Kevin Johnson aka unstoppable.

  • From DownTown!

    Threeeee!!!!

    Overtime!!!!

  • its alot better on the SNES but the best on Arcade. This version has more funky solos in it lol. I love the music on this one and TE

  • The SNES version seems to be alot different from the Genesis version. IIRC the Snes was a (near) perfect copy of the Arcade version with the cool synths. However, now that I have NBA JAM arcade on MAME, the music is different. Did they change the title music on later versions?
